you do have a point there. in fact, i've just realized the very vast distance that of my idols ten years ago and now. before, my idols were mariah, celine, whitney, now they're lady gaga, rihanna, beyonce, though vocally, no question, the former group can have 1 representative to stomp the latter group

Didn't you post an overwhelming page-long rebuttal back there?

It's cool, we can disagree.

I don't like Girl Talk.
I can't get through a Girl Talk album without giving up and listening to the original songs.

Here's two: I think Owl City's pretty good. These days, I probably wouldn't even rank Entroducing... in my top 50 trip hop albums.

Apart from Building Steam with a Grain of Salt I agree with this statement. The track is so damn phenomenal, everything just pales in comparison on the album. Bad choice for track running. If it was later on the album then maybe opinions would be different.

I never really thought of Entroducing as being a trip hop album.

I get what you mean though. I listen to a lot of those late 90s cut & paste albums now and they've dated horribly.

Me neither but it is held up as the archetypal Trip Hop album for many
