Did you see where I posted the Gallop did not come out until 1983 and those three singles were not banned songs that you posted?

I never said I know everything or try to give that impression. I am really passionate about music and love discussing it which is why I go on music boards. When ever I am wrong about something I always admit it and appreciate when I am corrected because I liked being informed and learning because I am open to learning from other people.

It seems that alot of people here can not do that themselves and seem threaten when they are wrong.

What is the problem?

And do you not see where I deleted it because I realised I'd got the two charts mixed up.

Um, you don't think black people/culture is being unfairly exploited in mainstream Hip Hop?

The main reason I brought up Krumping was to show you that there is still positive elements within Hip Hop today if you've seen the documentary and know what it is then you should know this.

It was also to counter your point about it not evolving into something good.

It's not unfairly being exploited when artists are cashing in on it and willfully doing it and know that they are doing it.

Sigh is my favourite band.

Black Metal is the best subgenre of Metal.

Uaral's harsh vocals are unjustly criticized by the people who prefer the lighter elements of their music.

I'm not sure exactly how unpopular these are, but I expect that if they're not unpopular by amount of people who outright disagree with them, they may at least be unpopular due to people not knowing the subjects of my opinions.

My initial point was angry, violent hip-hop songs has been eventually geared towards both white and black people, gang violence for example, when you directly justified those attitudes because of how whites oppressed blacks. I wasn't talking about what hip-hop initially was created for.

The only thing I can tell this far is you're saying real hip-hop is just 'black people backlashing white people's unjust treatment." If that's the case, I'm glad it went fake because it's exploring other ideas and subjects now.

You honestly believe that black people are not exploited in hip hop?

You don't think black women are degraded in music videos?
You do not think that black men are portrayed in a negative light?

Really?

Krump dancing is nothing compared to how a black woman is portrayed as a slut and how her body is objectified.

It does not matter that the rappers are OK with it. It still does not change the fact the hip hop mainstream culture is manufactured and purposely exploits African Americans.
