Its not a good look for a music site, just expressing my opinion from what I have observed here.
It's quite a difficult situation to discuss, especially on a thread called "Unpopular Music Opinions". Everyone who posts something here has to expect that none or very few other people will agree with them. This is what leads to that feeling of being "ganged up on". We've all been there.

Then again, if everyone agreed with you, then your post would be invalid, seeing as it was actually popular all along.

I wasn't trying to insult you, or read your mind. I don't actually understand this comment. I was simply correcting your use of a widely mis-quoted phrase.

Yea I understand but posters on a forum make up a community whether its on a server or not. The one thing we all have in common is that we come to discuss music related things at least that is the purpose for music boards.

It seems as though not enough music discussion is made here and I only see the same people hi fiving each other and they attack the ones that haven't been around longer. Once again, that is my opinion.

It is not about feelings, its just an opinion based on observation.

You don't get to determine how I define a phrase that is based on how I feel.

I am not really concern with how others use the phrase but when I use that phrase, I mean it

Yea I have, I didn't post that much back then.

The site has changed over the years.

It seems like a "hang out" spot now. lol

I have posted more within the last few years.

I don't think it matters when joined. I am expressing an opinion.

In my experience all forums are like that and I've been on all sorts from tv ones, sport ones, nerdy ones, wrestling ones, music ones, tech ones .. the lot.

It's just human nature, people just love to correct other people and tell them that they're wrong and then as they settle in you gradually you get a mob mentality who like to test newcomers and people who don't want to abide by the Status Quo.

I was ripped to shreds when I first came here and those are some of my happiest memories here, not because I was confrontational even though I enjoyed it, but because I made people see my way of thinking and agree with me even though they thought I was an asshole. Some still do and I'm glad of that.

Some people want to do it the easy way and earn respect by kissing peoples asses, I didn't do that and I don't see you doing it either, and that's why I respect you.

It's not the forum, it's just the uninteresting sheep like members who have nothing to say that constantly look for attention from others like them here.

I won't pursue this. The English language and the meaning of its words are objectively defined in the dictionary.

You can have a feeling about a phrase but if it grammatically still means something else, then I hate to say it but you are wrong.

I could care less. Meaning you have some care, and it could be less...therefore you care about the subject being discussed somewhat. Because you have a level of care that COULD be less.

I could not care less. Your level of care is so low, it could not go lower. This is what you mean and this is the phrase you should use.

Sorry but I'm with blackdragon on this..it's a pet peave when people get this phrase wrong.
