I can remember a day I put on my first CD at about 6am and then went to bed at about 3am the following day.... music playing for that whole stretch... now that was a great day! Don't get opportunities like that anymore, but if I could...

I had a similar experience on Saturday..although I wasn't up and about quite as long as that. I woke up around 2:00, popped on the ol' stereo system, and played straight tunes till like 4:00am..yet, I STILL only got through about 7 albums..lol.

I used to have WAY more spare time than I do now... plus there was no one around to say "oh, I don't like that", etc etc.... those days of blissful musical freedom... still, I devote a massive chunk of my time presently to musical concerns!

lets see.
according to last.fm, i have scrobbled 55,963 tracks in 38+ months (which comes out to about 1,167 days) which comes out to....(correct me if im wrong).... an average of 48 songs a day!

and if the average song is 3:20 [WikiAnswers] then about 2.5 hours of music a day.
