But anyway, I voted yes (which is obvious since I nominated them) but I think they're the best thing to come out of the UK in the 90's, and alot of great band came about in the 90's. Pulp, Oasis, Radiohead, but none of them released as many great albums as Blur.

Robert Christgau doesn't hate everything. I think it's quite evident from reading his reviews that he very much loves himself.

Always loved 'em, since way back when they were this "new band" from the UK... first I was roped in by my teenage taste for catchy pop songs with ironic observations of british lifestyle.... then I got drawn into the more artistic stuff of later albums.... they kinda joined me on my journey from College to the real world, so I guess I feel a pretty strong affinity with their music and their progression as a band...

So uh, yeah consequently I voted yes...

I'm not voting as of yet because I really do feel ambivalent as to whether they should be included or not.

Well they are a important and highly influential band in British music. But I guess the hall of fame is about whether you like a band or not. I thought musical importance had some role in it as well, guess not.
