YES! Thank you for having a big enough brain to not overrate Manipulator to an obscene degree. Pretty much everything they did was loads and loads better than that half-hearted tease of a record.

I don't think that's Bruce era only but.. wow .. different strokes. I'm like:

Powerslave > Number of the Beast > Piece of Mind > Live After Death > Killers > S/T > 7th Son > Somewhere in Time .. that's all I know

Well I meant di'anno too lol just not the 90's crapfest with that idiot from Wolfsbane.

Live After Death was the first album I 'really' heard back in '86 and which started everything off for me musically.

haha - yea, I figured what you meant. Still, you like those two latest albums that I don't really appreciate at all. I included Somewhere in Time in my list but I don't think I could sit through it today.

My memory of these albums isn't perfect but isn't Live After Death mostly stuff from the albums you rated lowest? (except for Piece of Mind)

Yeah but the versions are so much better. Rime of The Ancient Mariner and Powerslave have a much more tangible energy live than the studio albums for me. The fact that I heard them live before the studio versions will obviously make me biased.

Both Powerslave and NOTB have some horrible filler for me and apart from Quest For Fire, Piece Of Mind is so underated. Both Still Life and To Tame A Land are absolute belters.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Don't get me wrong, I still really like it. Mostly what brought it down was poor production.

From what I've heard of Aesop:

Flood > None Shall Pass > Labor Days> Fast Cars... > Bazooka Tooth
