Might as well give you some Irish stuff...

In Tua Nua (In too-ah noo-ah) "The Innocent and the Honest Ones"

The Adventures - "The Trip to Bountiful (When the Rain Comes Down")

Rory Gallagher - "At the Depot"

Just like with Nea's tracks above, I'm really missing a bit of bite when it comes to the first two tracks. It reminds me of the kind of thing my parents used to listen to way back, before their taste in music went to total **** (I demand that Ireland apologize for the existence of Derek Ryan).

The Rory Gallagher track is a bit more fun to listen to. He really gets busy with that slide guitar (sounds like that's what it is, anyway). If I ever make an 80's style action movie where a bar brawl suddenly breaks out, I'll have this track playing during the fight.

Do you know Clutch, Queens Of The Stone Age, or Monster Magnet at all?

I've heard music from all three, but it's only QOTSA that I've listened to full albums with. I'm not a huge fan, but I like several songs off Songs for the Deaf. I did not like the new album much...

I'm not really familiar with the other two bands as such; I've just got somewhat of an idea of how they sound.

Better late than never? I finally remembered to give these a listen.

After spinning it a couple times, I really warmed to this one. It's good. Playlist.

This one is pretty good too, but I'm not sure I feel strongly about it. I can imagine I'd be a bigger Monster Magnet fan if I check both bands out more. But it's good, really.

This one was an allright jam, but I didn't really feel a need to come back to it.

Who's Derek Ryan? Glad you liked the Rory track anyway: he was a real bluesman, but some of his faster stuff is more fun, I find.
