Back in my day it was easy to spot "LMD" the tattered rag clothes and tie dyed attire were a dead give away. If not the look the distinctive smell of Patchouli oil and Bong water would be another certain tell. But after the species nearly became extinct due to public back lash after Vietnam it adapted and now blends in amongst us. Often times they dress just like you and me and most frighteningly just like it's close cousin the Grounded Sane Liberal or "Barackis Obamis" as it is known in the scientific community. The quickest way to decipher one from the other is to express the possibility of a republican being a decent human being. If it reacts honestly and accepts public opinion and consensus it's safe continue your conversation. If it inundates you with rhetoric and opinions run like hell.

In closing there is no need for this current nuisance just as there was no need for the "Republicana Blowhardis Superious" or the condescending know-it-all Republican which overwhelmed us in the late 80's and early nineties until the GOP took back to House in '94. The first step was made in '06 when we gave their party control of the house and senate, it's now a matter of patience. Like the Tyrannosaurus Rex and movement, it can't see you if you don't talk politics in it's presence or respond to it. It feeds of your frustration as it circularly ignores your logic and regurgitates it talking points. Many good people have died trying to talk sense into one of this things, don't be the next.

Apparently I am ignorant and narrowminded enough to defend my view on Nixon, while you merely assert he was a great and self-less man. That is your opinion. What is it based on? My opinion is that he is a dirtbag. What is this based on? The fact that he committed campaign fraud, sabotage of the democratic party, breaking and entering, and illegal wiretapping of millions of American citizens. Then, he tried to hide it from the American people whom he took office to protect. None of that is spin or opinion. It is 100% documented fact that he did each of the things I listed. I'm about as far left as you can get, and I don't fit any of those ridiculous stereotypes. also, your comment that liberals think everyone must agree with them is just as bad. Where I live like 86% of people are Republican. They are far less tolerant of differing political views than any liberal I've ever met.

I could go through each of those points, but I don't think I want to waste the time right now. This one is the worst, so I'll address it:

They criticize the president because they love this country. Just because Bush is the president doesn't suddenly make him immune to criticism or infallible. In fact, his position is one of such importance that he should be more closely scrutinized. Everyone says that "you should respect him because he's the president lol." I would like to agree with them, but how can I respect someone who is supposed to uphold our democracy yet has absolutely no respect for the Constitution?

I might get around to the other ones when I'm feeling more zealous.

I realize that it was an attempt to be humorous, but I didn't find it that funny.

I don't like any of those Democrats you listed (I don't know much about Biden though). I like Kucinich, but for the most part I am not a fan of Democrats either. Yes, I'm liberal, but liberal=/= Democrat. Lots of times Democrats take a really bad approach to liberalism.

I still find Republicans more annoying than Democrats by far, although most politicians on both sides make me ****ing irate.
