1. What was the last thing you saw, read or heard that made you cringe?
not sure

2. Post an opinion you have that you think would be controversial either on here or in public.
i choose not to.

3. What is a nice thing that someone did for you recently? If there is nothing, then tell us something nice you did for someone else.
nice things are done for me all the time, because i do nice things to others

4. Which, if any, athletes or sports teams do you really not like?
not really, they all seem nice to me

5. Would you eat lab grown meat if it was readily available and the same cost as non lab meat? Why/why not? This question also applies to vegans and non meat eaters.
yes, because its prolly safer

6. Describe your ideal breakfast.
no breakfast, i try to wait as long as possible to eat and do the intermitting faster thing, it works yall.but,
if i had to eat a breakfest, it would be 6 scrammbled eggs, sauage or steak, and some hash browns i guess.

one of those breakfast bowls you put in the microwave, but like two of those.

1. What was the last thing you saw, read or heard that made you cringe?

We get a lot of dates at Barnes and Noble and today I heard a dude who was obviously on a first date ask a girl if she knew about Leroy Jenkins. She said no so he briefly stated what World of Warcraft was and then said "well, this one time some guy charged into a raid as they were planning an attack and yelled LEEEROOOOY JEEENKIIINNSSS and it was so funny." Girl was like "Oh". I took my break early right after that one.

2. Post an opinion you have that you think would be controversial either on here or in public.

I think we're on a path to ending our own species and in order to prevent that a good 4-5 billion of us need to die. We're too overpopulated and stupid for own good and a that a good plague is in order. I'll die for that too. I don't need to be saved in this scenario.

3. What is a nice thing that someone did for you recently? If there is nothing, then tell us something nice you did for someone else.

Somebody bought me a beer the other night because they liked the way I dressed. It was a guy who probably wanted to take me home but it was a nice gesture either way and made me feel good.

4. Which, if any, athletes or sports teams do you really not like?

49ers fan. I naturally wish the Seahawks would crash a plane into a mountain.

5. Would you eat lab grown meat if it was readily available and the same cost as non lab meat? Why/why not? This question also applies to vegans and non meat eaters.

There's no difference between that and the sh*t I regularly pile into my mouth and I ain't dead so I really don't care.

6. Describe your ideal breakfast.

Huevos Racheros with good hot sauce. Toasted NJ/NYC everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Black coffee.

Girl said "Oh. I thought you were talking about the Jazz violinist", tore of her wig and turned out to be Frownland.

I cringed reading this. What did he do next - show her a binder of his Sonic the Hedgehog fan art?

Cuthbert 03-21-2018 09:23 AM

Exo's answer to question #1 >>>

I felt the cringe just reading it.

Yes. Not getting laid is much less overrated, not at all probably.

Trollheart 03-21-2018 03:02 PM

Being overrated is overrated.

MicShazam 03-21-2018 03:21 PM

The word 'overrated' is overrated. I prefer to just say something sucks.

Those aren't synonyms though.

Works for me though, since I only ever say something is overrated if I don't like it at all
So I should just cut the crap and say it straight.

Not really. Something can suck and nobody likes it, but being overrated means a lot of people (too many, probably) do like it, but you don't. So you could say for instance, Metallica is overrated but Brian Jones and His One Other Band Member Band suck. Nobody is likely to know who Jones is, and so he can't be overrated.

Feel free.

Post now if you want. It's Saturday for some of us.

The Batlord 03-23-2018 04:32 PM

Nobody's stopping you, dude.

Cuthbert 03-23-2018 04:37 PM

I'm expecting big things of the Mindfulness 6 pack.

Mindfulness 03-23-2018 05:01 PM

ok, ill think of some now :)

Mindfulness 03-23-2018 05:26 PM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?
Python or just computer science as a whole. i wish i had a smarter brain basically.

2) What are some small things that make your day better?
spotify, musicbanter chatter.boxden comments, those really can make the day great because they
are so funny sometimes.

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

finally went walking down the trails behind the school here in town. i took photos and posted them online and people liked it. going back to walk slower this time and take more, longer videos

4)How different was your life one year ago?
Not much different, im not proud of that. i need to branch out and do other stuff this summer and spring. maybe run at the boardwalk inside of the gym.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

my parents
6)What gets you going in the morning?
Starbucks coffee and monster rehab plus some water

Akai 03-23-2018 05:32 PM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?

Music Theory and Physics

2) What are some small things that make your day better?

Family encounters, playing bass, eating etc

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

I went to the shop to buy some bread

4)How different was your life one year ago?

Other than not having a second job, not much

5)Who inspires you to be better?

Family, friends, musical and social influences etc

6)What gets you going in the morning?

A cup of Yorkshire and a healthy dosage of Rush.

Trollheart 03-23-2018 06:12 PM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?
Most things, really. I'd like to have a better grasp of politics/history and I'd like to be able to actually play the piano, not just jab wildly at some chords on a keyboard with a pre-programmed synthesiser. Oh, and I wish I was Frownland, of course, as we all do.

2) What are some small things that make your day better?
Music, good weather or maybe bad if I'm in that sort of mood. Birdsong. My cats. Smiles from people but not that creepy guy six doors down. Interesting or funny posts on MB.

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

To destroy the One Ring. I failed. :( Ah, life under Sauron ain't so bad, is it?

4)How different was your life one year ago?
Not one iota. Not for the last at least eight years.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

My sister, and the memory of my mother.

6)What gets you going in the morning?
Bed bugs.

Frownland 03-23-2018 06:25 PM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?

I can always use more music history knowledge. I'd make bank if I understood coding better though.

2) What are some small things that make your day better?

Gorgeous natural displays like sunsets.

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

Currently on the train to LA to catch Jpegmafia and it's standing room only. It's a venture at the very least.

4)How different was your life one year ago?

I'm 10x the slave I ever was.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

Too many people. Virtually every time I hear a song I love, that artist is inspiring me to make and grow on my own ****. I guess there's the billionaire heir I know from college who inspires me to show him up without a symbolic position at my father's company. I swear I'm not bitter.

6)What gets you going in the morning?

The night before an album I'm excited for is dropped is like Christmas for me.

MicShazam 03-23-2018 06:55 PM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?

C#, maybe. I studied it a bit last year, but it started getting too complicated for me once I got into some of the more advanced concepts.

2) What are some small things that make your day better?

Coffee, music, people being friendly/nice to me. Those moments when I feel calm and focused.

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

I don't go on adventures.

4)How different was your life one year ago?

Not much. Bit by bit, I learn to spend my time on more worthwhile things.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

Some of the writers that I like. David Foster Wallace definitely impacted my way of thinking about life.

6)What gets you going in the morning?

I'm one of those people that's on 100% capacity as soon as I've stepped out of bed. So I guess waking up gets me going in the morning?

grindy 03-24-2018 02:52 AM

That passes for real human questions. Well done.

Lucem Ferre 03-24-2018 03:04 AM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?

A bit of everything, to be honest. I wish I knew how to project my feelings into lyrics in a more creative way and how to sing mostly. Anything to do with music.

2) What are some small things that make your day better?

Music. Friends. Good art.

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

Um, ****, IDK. Probably going to FYE. Most of me and my friends are too broke to adventure.

4)How different was your life one year ago?

Same **** basically. Less trust now, I guess. I feel less wanted or welcome or less like I fit in. But that's something that's been gradually creeping on me over time.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

Artists like Lupe or Kanye and my friend's grandma and this one girl but at the same time she makes me want to give up.

6)What gets you going in the morning?

Nothing. Having to get to work usually, but other wise nothing.

OccultHawk 03-24-2018 05:41 AM

1) What do you wish you knew more about?

Mechanics

2) What are some small things that make your day better?

Pills

3)What’s the last adventure you went on?

Went to the beach during a pretty intense storm.

4)How different was your life one year ago?

I had a job and I was never happy. Now I’m occasionally overcome with joy. Some days I curl up with my dog and enjoy music and literature and I’m so happy with myself for giving myself time that I think even if I die broke in a gutter next year it’s better to be happy for a short time than miserable for a long time.

5)Who inspires you to be better?

Myself

6)What gets you going in the morning?

I only “get going” if I feel like it. Besides walking the dog.

Cuthbert 03-24-2018 06:55 AM

Quote:

Now I’m occasionally overcome with joy. Some days I curl up with my dog
