lotion, deodorant, bottle of jojoba oil, a book, alarm clock, back massager, box of fruit pastilles, TV remote, nail clippers, emery board, wrist watch, roll of packing tape, CD holder, bottle of nail polish remover, nail polish, a bunch of hair ties, lamp thats not even plugged in, an old cell phone, a bunch of change, two carabiners, earrings, misc pens, pencils, and papers.

i was stung by one last year whilst holidaying in Malta.
it was horrendous.

Well, I feel the need to specify that jellyfish is a pretty large group comprising the free-swimming members of the phylum Cnidaria. Not all of them will be able to/have a noticeable sting. The typical moon jellies are quite harmless.

I get stung every year by Cyanea capillata but I don't really mind

It is poisonous, but only to the point where it causes irritation meaning slight pain/itching of the skin for a while.

The point is - swimming with jellyfish doesn't have to be unpleasant or dangerous. It depends on the species!

that second picture is how the one i was stung by looked. i especially remember its redish colour. and my skin felt extremely itchy and uncomfortable, and some pain.
backed up by the paranoia that i was going to die.
