Actually, I was gonna post it in the "Your Day" thread, but didn't think it would be tasteful.

AND ANOTHER THING

How many damn times is iTunes going to change their friggin interface? It's like everytime I finally figure out where everything is they go and change it again. IT WAS PERFECT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT! So easy to use. They just keep trying to make it flashier and flashier and it's just like dude. Give it a ****ing rest. Are people really so starved for new things that they have to change everything every 2 months? **** off with it already, *******s.

Why the **** do they make remotes black? When the lights are off and I want to change the channel I don't want to have to fumble around like a jackass for five minutes before I finally break down and turn the lights on. Change your ****!

Use winamp.

iTunes is clunky, slow, and it's just an overall annoying thing to use for massive collections of music. I remember the time I ripped out my hard drive out of my computer that died ready to rip all of the music out of it. iTunes didn't like that, and my music folder had vanished. Thousands of songs, fucking gone, songs I paid for, made, acquired from artists, years of building up my library with good music fucking gone. I was mega-pissed, and I wanted to dig up Steve Jobs and piss on his corpse. Apple is probably the least user friendly company on the face of the Earth.

I'm in the process of backing up all my music right now so I can clear some space. My computer is MEGA slow lately and I'm hoping that's the issue. It's mostly just with streaming videos though so idk if it's at all related. Either, I hardly listen to most of the stuff anyways but can't bring myself to part with it permanently either. I will check out this winamp of which you speak... iTunes has lost my faith.

Ryanair will no longer let you check in your tickets until a few day beforehand, to check in earlier and book a seat you need to pay extra. That means I have to sort this **** out a couple of days before the fight and when it finally comes around their ****ing site is down. What happened to just jumping on a seat? I want to get this stuff sorted out as early as possible so I don't have to worry about it.

They're more than likely still there, you just needed to make the drive 'bootable' so you could see the %appdata% files, or in other words the "User" files. I keep all my personal files on an external hard drive, and can open them from pretty much any machine. When creating a networked drive for multiple PC access, I create a new folder directly on the C: drive, which I map to, which is also easily recoverable with a USB cable when you need to pull the hard drive. iTunes uses the boot structured "User" files (which is where multiple user accounts come into play) to store their data files, which generally keeps the novice user out of their inner workings so as to not screw anything up.
