^Ok, big boy is typically white because he was created as a sign for the "all-american" meal.....in the sign he's black. Hahaha?

Oh .. We don't have big boy in this country. I thought the joke was in the potential political incorrectness of using the word boy on a sign picturing a black man.

It's not a black man. You can see that he has blue eyes and straight hair on the sign, but here's their logo as it appears when not rendered in crappy quality sign paint:
