Absolutely. Cats demand food at any and all times (I've had cats my entire life. I have two of my own, and my mom has 3 right now) and they are crazy biotches.

Basically, if you don't put cats on a regular feeding schedule and try to appease them with tons of food, they get super fat. I don't know if you saw the picture of my giant cat, but it's all my fault.

I think it's funny that you bitch about being accosted for abusing your mod powers in a post that sits directly below several posts in which you were doing just that. If anyone else on this forum were to make those types of comments in a post, not only would it be deleted, they would be infracted as well.

I'm completely confused about what I should be doing with my life.

I've been doing theatre and writing for as long as I can remember, and for both have been able to get a little bit of income here and there. Strangely enough, visual art (which is something I do as little more than a hobby, to be quite honest) and music (which I've been doing for a year) seem to be paying me better.

I got paid 75% of my income in the past year for acoustic gigs, filling in as a rhythm guitarist or playing on recordings, and for illustration or design work. People have even just asked me to draw them things or paint things for them, and paid me $30+ for each work. But, like I said, these things I do as more of a hobby than anything, and I don't really feel as motivated to do these things as I feel to write or to perform in a theatrical capacity. Writing and theatre are my main motivations in life overall. If I'm not doing those things, I really don't feel as though I'm living at all. I really *have* to write and act. It's not as though I could just walk away from it.

With that said, I was wondering if my life would be easier if I tried harder at the two things which have been earning me the most cash flow, and putting the things I love the most on the back burner. I'd still be working at them, but acknowledging that they aren't what I should be doing right now.

What I'm really wanting advice on is if I should try to pursue the other two artistic mediums which have proved to be more effective for me personally in the past year or so and try to get enough money from that to follow my bliss...or if I should just try harder at the things I love and hope that the little bit of income from the other things can help me do that.

I'm in a complete funk.

I've come across this in the past and I decided to go with what I'm passionate about as opposed to taking the big payday.

I rather do something that I'm passionate about than just work at something because it generates more income but be miserable and uninterested in it.

Sure there are plenty of people doing that but I don't feel that's a good way to live. To just join the rat race and do a job/career that you don't like but it pays well.

Some people say well that's what grown-ups do they make sacrifices and throw away their dreams to be more realistic and earn money but I don't even think that's connected to maturity at all.

There are just different ways to live your life either you can be happy and barely getting by or you can be miserable but make a stupid amount of money.

You CAN get to the point where you are happy and generate a large income but it takes time and if you are impatient then you might as well go the miserable route.

after I said all of that I'm not even sure if I answered your question or was of any help sorry.
