I went to a clinic that was fill of therapists-in-training that was sliding scale. You should look into if something like that exists near you. I paid no more than $40 a session and when I was unemployed it was pro bono. You need the insight, they need the hours. Mutually beneficial.

It's not that you ask me questions it's your motive behind them. You want to dissect me. I can tell by your wording and phrasing and that you really don't have a particular question. I am used to being treated as a curiosity as an ex cult member. And I usually answer these questions graciously because I understand it's a rarity to find one that isn't on the History Channel or written a tell all book that is open to talking. The ****ing grievous reality of it is brother, you are never out of one. Never. No matter how much you think you are etc. You know little to **** all about the infrastructure behind a cult how it is set up ect. And there are certain things that I have kept inside myself for 13 + years that not even someone ****ing me on the regular knows. That's because it's my private hell. And it should be treated with reverence and respect, not to be ogled like a two headed pig in a jar. If your conversational skills had a quid pro quo like quality attached to them you and I could engage in a dialogue rather then me feeling like I am being interrogated you would find my discomfort with you might ease. If this explanation was to long winded for you think of it this way... It's like you are demanding a reach around and not buying me dinner first. A touch of class bro a touch of class.

i really don't want to dissect you specifically though. like i said i think police work is pretty cool so i was curious about which line of cop work you were going for. i don't think that's a particularly personal question, honestly. and it wasn't cause it was you that i asked. if it had been anyone else i would have asked the same question.
