Well if some random person just walked into the room and started to ask you about your childhood traumas, wouldn't you be put off? That's basically how you come off. I might be tactless, but Roxy and I have some kind of rapport that lets her know that at the very least I'm not just interested in her story for purely academic reasons. You haven't really cultivated anything like that with her. You don't seem interested in that, which is fine, as it's the internet after all, but don't be surprised when people don't want to open up to you because of it.

no. i am honestly the opposite of roxy when it comes to valuing privacy. i like getting analyzed. that's why i think it would be interesting to see a shrink

but i can definitely how most people would get uncomfortable at that sort of thing, i'm not criticizing that. it would have seemed perfectly normal to me for her to tell me to **** off when i asked her about her childhood

however... and i have a feeling that in saying this i am going to provoke even more hostility/bickering... the only question(s) i asked her which i feel were even remotely personal were about the cult stuff.

i still don't see how anything else i asked was anything more than normal small talk. honestly, i think i've probably asked you (batlord) more personal questions than anyone else on this site. i don't wanna keep fighting about this, but i'm just being honest. so perhaps like i said it is better i just don't ask her questions

yea, that's fair enough. and i wouldn't say i'm not interested in that sort of thing. i just don't always have good social skills

you don't know what furries are? they are some online phenomenon. i used to think they were people who ****ed animals, but then my cousin told me he was one and explained to me about them. long story short, they don't **** animals, they dress up in animal costumes (and then ****, presumably). she came to work with one of these hats on one day (no, this pic isn't her):



and that's something of a furry trademark so i asked her if she was one of those people and she said yes. then i explained about my cousin and the misconception i had about furries. she said she's not the kind that ****s animals, nor the kind that ****s people in animal costumes, but that she just thinks she looks cute with the ears. i am still kind of skeptical about it though, truth be told. contrary to my image on here i am not really into animals like that. just a personal preference i have, i only like to **** my own species. but i'm not sure about costumes. i would be ok with just the ears i think but if she breaks out a full on dog costume then we might have a problem lol.
