That's not even what I said. I'm under the same impression as you are, we rot in the ground. However, that doesn't prove anything. There are enough people that believe otherwise which makes it a viable response to this topic.

Wait, so how many of you would take immortality if it was offered? And no you can't opt out of it if you get bored.

I can think of several people on this site who I'd sacrifice to Azazel for immortality.

I'd rather die right now than be immortal.

Tbh I'm more discomforted by the fact that a superhuman moral system doesn't exist

Maybe a 'just universe' is a more appropriate phrase than 'superhuman moral system'.

Basically, I'm disgusted that some people are born with every advantage in the world, while others spend their whole lives climbing out of the holes they were born into. I also hate how the superficiality of humanity perpetuates the advantages/disadvantages, with society's emphasis on beauty and financial success. And the fact that reality rewards those who aren't afraid to **** people over in order to make it in this world, while punishing those who do right. In some ways society has degressed in altruism, in other ways progressed.

tl;dr it's a dog-eat-dog world, and all those animalistic tendencies we thought we've shed in becoming 'humane' are still very prevalent

Inb4 I'm declared a self-righteous pinko

No. I don't have the time to think about the inevitable. The rat race is a quick one remaining focused on life is hard enough.
