I'm trying to develop some standards though, otherwise I'd have too many rogue layers and self-referencing blocks.
|
Look if you're gonna start saying smart things I don't understand I'm gonna have to start charging you cause clearly there's no love here.
|
Smart blocks are a big part of a good set of standards. Here's a dollar.

Uh... yeah. Tfw you were a pimp once and the memes hurt.
|
I'm not bitter I just wish you hadn't brought out the belt.

You mean the Judas Priest one with the spikes and studs? I thought you liked penetration.
|
At least give him a Painkiller, or he'll be Screaming for Vengeance.

... you open the front door and on the ground, lying flat in front of you,
is the double LP set that you paid 308.00 DKK to get delivered from Denmark. If I hadn't already recognized that it was the postal carrier at the door, I could easily imagine just walking out my door and crushing this thing. |

English = Friday Danish = Fredag Fredag means Freja's day. Fre as in short for Freja, which is this norse goddess: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...by_Penrose.jpg https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freja Friday is not far from that, but some of the other days must mean something else in English. Wednesday, for example. "Wednes"? What the hell does that mean? In Danish, that day is "Onsdag", which is short for "Odin's day". |

EDIT: I just checked Saturday out of curiousity, and that one is completely different between Danish and English. English = Comes from the roman/latin name "Diēs Sātūrnī" which means "Saturn's day" Danish = A corruption of the ancient nordic spelling "laugardagr" which meant "washing day". So I guess I'm supposed to do my laundry tomorrow. |

Although one would think those names would have been changed again centuries later, but apparently not. |
I'm just assuming it's a Roman thing where they adopted Germanic culture to naming conventions for the sake of integrating them.

TFW one of the most gorgeous women you've ever seen in your life only does softcore but you're willing to make it work. For the kids.

I think she might have weirdly short toes though so I don't know if she'll be a true dime for you. The only possible problem though. The kinda chick that needs no feature to make up for a flaw. All features are perfect.

On the topic of day names, I was always told that Monday was named after the Moon. The same thing applies even when the language is different: Monday in Spanish is "lunes" which comes from "luna"= moon. Spooky or what? |
In regards to the week, I just always thought it was odd that the first day of the week in the US is sunday. In Sweden it is Monday ( måndag).
|
TFW you're glad that the week is over then you realize that it's actually Thursday and you're like goddamn I should drink some water.
|
TFW you get home from work, see a 📦 on the porch and realize it was delivered to the wrong address.
