I agree. That and Blank Face are the two albums that I think killed 2016.

So far, Schoolboy Q hasn't done shit for me with any of his projects. And Blank Face really made me come to that conclusion. The hype for that album is retarded.

Da fuq are you talking about? Blank Face changed my mind a bit about Schoolboy Q.

His last album felt like he only had three decent songs on it and the rest was filler but Blank Face was a step up in the right direction

I never listened to Schoolboy Q prior, never really gave a ****. I heard Buttress hyping a song on twitter and checked it out. Loved the **** out of that song and checked out more songs from that album. Loved all of them so I bought the album.

100%

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-15-2016 07:52 AM

You ***s need to hear Habits & Contradictions, by far his best. And while we're talking about rappers that we've never "got", Ab-Soul stinks.

djchameleon 11-15-2016 09:32 AM

Yeah, I keep giving Ab-Soul chances but he doesn't do it for me outside of a few songs here and there.

One affordable luxury of my former life as a housed citizen of the most bazaar city in the most entertaining country in the world is iced lattes courtesy of the US government. On my way to purchase this luxury I almost got hit by a ****ing truck while crossing the street because I was completely enamored by a cute girl. Bitch. I almost died because of you.

So looks like I'm moving to California in the spring for a little bit. Moving in with my buddy who has a grow site. Right now he's looking at renting a house in Cazadero which is in the f*cking boonies of Sonoma County. Bout an hour north of Santa Rosa. I'd be helping with the growing and trying to figure out life sh*t. Could end up staying longer than a little bit. Who knows. The house is incredible though.

Excited.

That's awesome. I loved living in California and hope you do too.

This seems like one of those things you might not want to broadcast on the internet. I'm assuming rogue weed farms are still illegal in Cali.

Lmao not really, unless you really piss off the DEA.

Today in one of my jobs teaching high school kids guitar I had to teach 3 Nickelback songs. Desperate for an antidote I played Portal and Blut aus Nord for the drive home. I'm hoping I managed to avoid any permanent neurological damage.

Poor, poor man. I'll pray for you... to Lucifer obviously.

Exo 11-17-2016 10:17 AM

You HAD to teach three nickleback songs? Why?

Frownland 11-17-2016 10:19 AM

Bet he needed fifteen cents.

The Batlord 11-17-2016 11:34 AM

Is Nickelback now part of the American curriculum? **** Canada, I'm moving to Mexico.

Plankton 11-17-2016 11:57 AM

A really bad accident happened right in front of my work just now. I heard it a few moments before I heard the sirens, since it's like 70 degrees and sunny today so my windows are open. A Harley vs Tractor-Trailer. Harley lost. I don't think the guy is dead, but he's in really bad shape. Poor dude was just out enjoying the nice day.

Chula Vista 11-17-2016 12:53 PM

Bummer.

Just refinanced my mortgage to consolidate a bunch of debt. Will be paying $1,500 less in bills a month once it closes.
Based on our recent circumstances this will really loosen the screws a lot.

Sad.
Also sad that you have a nice, sunny day over there, while it's autumny as hell over here.

Plankton 11-17-2016 01:06 PM

It's almost a record high for Chicago, but tomorrow the bottom drops out and we probably won't see 70's until next spring, so I'm heading out early from work and heading straight to the liquor store and then a disc golf course.

Woohoo!

Autumn is sweet when it isn't bloody freezing.

The Batlord 11-17-2016 01:35 PM

I find it uncomfortable when my blood freezes.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-17-2016 01:36 PM

I'm not a fan of Autumn. Every month after September until about mid-April is just too cold for me here.

Same man. Canada and England suck.

The Batlord 11-17-2016 01:39 PM

Thank God I live in the South. Autumn here is one of the few times it isn't either freezing and dreary or humid and sweltering. It's also got this great melancholy, wistful vibe that mixes amazingly with the fallen leaves. Best season hands down.

See, that sounds like how Autumn should be, but the cold makes me not want to go out. I mean it's not even December yet and we are getting major snow.

We only get snow in winter if at all. Fall is the season when we can go outside on any given day without having to either bundle up or sweat balls. Even spring isn't quite as reliable. Of course I think global warming might be ****ing with even fall now or some ****. It's staying warmer longer and getting colder more suddenly as far as I can tell. Not cool, bro.

Frownland 11-17-2016 01:53 PM

Fall has the best herb. Fall wins.

This immediately brought season one of True Detective to mind.

Great prose. Cormac McCarthy's got nothing on The Bat.

Blunt profanity is a stylistic choice in case you plebes hadn't noticed.

Frownland 11-17-2016 02:27 PM

Your erotic Manowar fanfiction was surprisingly poignant.

The senior kids doing music as a subject have to periodically play something in front of their class, they can pick what they like and it's up to the instrumental teachers to prepare them.
