And if you want neither, go here.

Last night had dinner with my boss, his wife, and one of our lawyers up here in Irvine. We have one more day of depositions today.

Anyway, booze started to flow and suddenly me and the lawyer (we're only a year apart in age) start trading hullucinegetic stories. (dude was a Deadhead who's seen over 250 shows)

My boss and his wife are half starting us with big eyes and half almost pissing their pants laughing.

Was really fun while also pretty surreal at the same time.

Always seems to be the measure for determining the precise point at which the ice has officially been broken with somebody, when you start sharing trip tales. I remember the first time my father and I shared trip tales, a couple of years after I had graduated highschool, our relationship entered a new era that day.

Frownland 03-31-2017 12:23 PM

She can do math...on my dick.

Ha!

The Identity Matrix 03-31-2017 12:25 PM

Frownland wins....

The Batlord 03-31-2017 03:55 PM

Math is for gays anyway, so I doubt they're teaching her anything but actual math.

Frownland 03-31-2017 03:57 PM

She can culturally appropriate my dick.

Mp3s do suck ass. It's all about flax and waves.

I finally listed some of my clothes and shoes online to hopefully sell, so, if any of you have a girlfriend or female friend/relative who shops online with any regularity and is a size 4-8 (or size 8 shoe) please link them! I'd greatly appreciate it. https://poshmark.com/closet/zulabelle
I'll be adding a couple of new things daily, including some vintage stuff.

That's discrimination on at least two levels.

Chiomara 03-31-2017 09:42 PM

Well, by all means, if any of you want to buy dresses and shoes from me for your personal use, feel free!

Think I had a mini stroke on Thursday early evening. The three people I was with at the time were absolutely freaked out. I finally came around and right now am feeling ok. Making a Doc Appt. first thing Monday.

The tl:dr version to come tomorrow. Bet you can't wait.

(was seriously scared ****less as the spell was going down - as were my boss, his wife, and our lead lawyer)

Well I hope everything is fine.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 04-01-2017 07:59 AM

yeah same here, hope all is well Chula.

Chiomara 04-01-2017 08:13 AM

My ten-year-old laptop likes to devise new ways to irritate me each day-- today, it decided it likes to shut down any time the power cord shifts around in its socket (the battery is dead, so it has to remain plugged in). So it is now held into place by electrical tape.

Oh no! Strokes are terrifying. Don't die please!

The Batlord 04-01-2017 10:31 AM

Is your mouth droopy?

grindy 04-01-2017 10:38 AM

That's it, Chula.
No Trump thread for you for at least a month.

The Batlord 04-01-2017 10:43 AM

Frownland should put him on ignore till then too.

Chula Vista 04-01-2017 10:55 AM

Had been up in downtown of Irvine, CA for 2 full days of depositions and the 4 of us went out to grab dinner. We're sitting outside chowing down and the next thing I know it's all black and I'm slowly lifting my head and coming to in a total haze not knowing at all where the hell I am, what I'm doing, or why I'm here. I remember slowly turning my head side to side and trying to absorb the surroundings (we're in the middle of downtown surrounded by tall office buildings) and it simply wasn't registering.

I look down and Jeff, Yvette, and Bob are staring at me with these WHAT THE **** looks on their faces and asking me what's wrong and if I'm allright. I start asking questions where am I, why am I here, when did I get here, etc.

Very slowly things came back into focus and the cobwebs went away. Jeff, (my boss) asked me to stick out my tongue to see if it was drooping to one side or the other - it wasn't. I'll never forget the look on our lawyers face as he kept an eye on me for the next 15 minutes or so - like he was ready to pull out his phone and dial 911 while administering CPR at the same time if I was to keel over.

Have felt fine ever since but will definitely follow up with my doc. Easily one of the most surreal experiences in my 56+ years.

Chula Vista 04-01-2017 02:33 PM

UPDATE: For my homey peeps.

Jeff not only had me stick out my tongue but also had me touch my nose with both hands. My face never drooped, and my speech never slurred.

So it wasn't a Transient Ischemic Attack.

https://media.giphy.com/media/EDt1m8p5hqXG8/giphy.gif

More likely it was a syncope based on the built up stress of the situation.

Carry on.

djchameleon 04-01-2017 03:51 PM

Are you still going to see a doc Monday or was that their diagnosis based off of a ER visit?

Christ man! Sorry to hear that! Hope all is ok. Make sure you talk to the doc without delay, you can never be too careful. Lucky escape maybe.

Thanks! c: I like the dress, (despite it being tea stained) but it is too small for me now. Alas.

(Not that anyone cares, but I added more things--so again, please link it on facebook or wherever, those of you who are acquainted with any women who shop online and are roughly my size)

So i can't remember if any of you live near Austin, Texas or not but if you do and you want to meet up, I'm seeing Donnie Darko at one of the Alamo Drafthouses tonight and would be cool to chill with somebody. I cant remember if any of you guys are Texan.

Also, sorry i havnt been around. Travelling can be detrimental to music forum mod participation.

I know Justthefacts, Chiomara, and elphenor are from Texas, but considering the size of the state I don't know how much that means.

I'm in Fort Worth. Roughly three hours from Austin.

And rostasi is in Texas too! Didn't know there were so many of us.

The ****ty sequel was filmed in my town. They made it look really rural and smaller than it really is. Never know how many black, Hispanic and Tongan people live here by that movie. Filmed on Magna main. But the girls do look like your authentic Magna girl.

Whatever you do, stay away from the clock tower at the University Of Texas.
