I completely misread the whole "where I live" = Malaysia post, you were still in Croatia in my mind. I thought you were straw-manning, not speaking to your actual experience so I sincerely and genuinely apologize for being an *******.

I still say stay away from Malaysia though, and that's good advice for anyone. Several years ago a friend of mine was living there teaching English and he ended up murdered in a Malaysian prison after being arrested for suspected marijuana use. They found one joint in his house, about half a gram worth of weed. RIP Kurt.
