Ha! Easily stirred aren't you? You're sociological observations could potentially be close to accurate, but it apparently doesn't appear to apply in this case.
My point was that, generally, when you are young and in love (male or female), the emotional bond or need ("...things are moving QUICKLY in the feelings department...")
sometimes overwhelms the rational thought of one's actions ("...tarot and astrology..."). It's not a men vs. women issue.

I don't defend it, it is what it is. Just like tarot cards, I take what I want from it and forget the rest. There are certainly some things that have been scarily accurate, but it's more of a tool to find meaning within yourself, not a crystal ball.
