It's not a choice if I don't have a choice.

So you're a compatibilist. So long as you aren't being hindered or coerced you have freewill? Cause if that's not what you're saying then you're using autonomous in two different ways here. To autonomously function simply means to function without interference, but to be autonomous in an incompatibilist sense means more than that.

he would argue something like public executions would lead to revolution as opposed to locking people up in secrecy

*autonomously control our actions

Poor wording, you got me.

I don't think that there is a mind/body separation, so to say that your brain is in control of your actions is the same as saying that you are in control of your actions. Like I said, it's not either/or.

Goddamn dude

How clear do I have to ****ing be? We don’t choose anything.

I'm just confused by this.. you believe our actions are determined based entirely on uncontrollable chemical interactions, but we have the capacity to add different chemicals into the equation.. So where does that fit into your ideology?

If I can add different chemicals into my body that I know will produce certain effects (even if I dont have direct will over the effects those chemical interactions produce), I still have no free will?

Think of it like this. You take a ****. That **** has no control over itself. That’s exactly how much control your brain has. None.

Is "you" or "we" synonymous with the brain?

Your dick is controlled by your brain. So what's the foreign element that is controlling your brain?

Let’s be honest. If Frown can’t get this you’re certainly not going to.

You don’t have any control over anything at all. You don’t control your response to this. It is impossible for anyone to control anything.

Good answers and question dodge.. We've already established I don't have control over my actions because the chemicals do it all. So I'm asking what happens when someone manipulates the chemicals that do the decision making, and your answer is "your too dumb to understand my weak argument".
