We had no idea what we were gonna see, other than "it's a 2023 release that's coming soon"

It ended up being "Paint," a mediocre comedy where Owen Wilson looks like Bob Ross but he's not Bob Ross and he's kind of a dick. It got a couple laughs out of me. Some of the people in the theater laughed a lot so I guess it's a brand of comedy that will work for some.

I’m about to walk into a “Mystery Movie Monday” which is a pretty cool concept actually. It appears to be shockingly popular, the theater is packed
Oh you have Regal Unlimited too? I've never gone to a Mystery Movie Monday before but maybe I will next time that I see it pop up.

Regal Unlimited might be my single favorite thing in the world, I truly get my money’s out of it unless it’s an incredibly dead month, but there honestly hasn’t been one of those for movies in almost a full year at this point

Yeah true plus you really only need to see two to get your money's worth but March was packed with tons of good stuff. Also the discount on concessions.

Hitting the theater four times in the next four days

Tonight: John Wick 4. I'm really not a big fan of this franchise past the first one but it sounds like this one goes ****ing hard so I'm pretty excited nonetheless

Double feature on Saturday, first is A Good Person by Zach Braff. Just a couple pages ago people were roasting Garden State by him which I haven't seen but it has its fans. I'm not that excited for this one but Regal Unlimited is OP

Followed by that is My Neighbor Totoro, which is one of the few Miyazakis I still haven't seen. I love that my Regal has been screening Miyazakis lately, last year I got to see Kiki's Delivery Service for the first time on the big screen and loved it

Finally on Sunday I'm seeing Dungeons & Dragons which I cannot ****ing wait for

I hope it’s better than the other D&D movies!

Say what you want about the rest of it, but Jeremy Irons gives the performance of a lifetime in the 2000 DND movie. Utterly exquisite hamminess.

I’ve never seen it, I just remember hearing it was bad, but I agree that Jeremy Irons is a treasure.
