Just wondering, how long could you go playing with 3D on playing without feeling dizzy? I played on my friends 3DS, and after two levels of Mario Kart I started getting a really light headache.

Heh. I can't even play first person shooters for that reason, they make me feel horribly sick within about half an hour.

I haven't had any 3DS related headaches IIRC.

I played for two hours yesterday with no issues. I think if I took my glasses off it would be different, but I also think it depends on how far you hold the system away from your face.

The only issues I've run into are:

Game requires more movement / it's harder to hold still so the image will split.

2D dead spots on edges, I doubt this could be avoided, and it's not usually noticeable.

3D is a bit overwhelming, which makes me turn it down or off (I've noticed this more in games with a shifting camera.

The best 3D game is probably 3D Land, it never overwhelms but frequently amazes.

that's what I meant. Isn't it always the publisher who draws up the developer's contract and decides how hard the players are going to be nickel and dimed? :afro:http://www.googleiclouds.info/control/images/apple

What?

I'll just stick to my normal DS, I tried it out again yesterday and it felt like I was looking past the 3D, i was playing with it significantly far from my face as well.

I usually never get dizzy playing games, especially FPS, I could play them for hours and I mean 6+ and feel fine.

@MLSHK lolwut?

resident evil 6

this game would be a lot better if it let me pause. Nothing sucks worse then having to lose your progress because you got torn up by zombies cuz you get a phone call or have to answer door

What a bizarre thing to not have in a game.

Still working away at Far Cry 3. Can't believe I originally had a pessimistic outlook about the game. It's still as fun as ever.

It artificially creates tension, man. Kinda like how RE4 wouldn't let you move while shooting :)
