Kinda reminds me of Homewrecker (the band, not the Converge song), especially the vocals, but without all the crust punk.


This album also has the best numbskull guitar intro since Speak English or Die btw.

I like most of what Blue Hawk has posted, including the some of the music of the preceding band, but the theme (and vocals) are so deliberately off-putting... I don't get it. Also the first review for that EP is brilliant

One of the few metalcore acts that has kept it's place in my library over the years:

Tasty, tasty riffs.

This is probably my top grindcore song of all-time, and a definitive extreme metal track in general. The monumental sludge riffs meant for leveling city blocks, the uber-tight blast sections that feel less like raw chaos than a perfectly coordinated artillery barrage, the hideous high and low vocals, the monstrous breakdown around 2:00, and that thick, abrasive production, they all combine to do everything I want brutal metal to do.

Even their name is brilliant!

After a bunch of "tasteful", intelligent grindcore, I need me some degenerate, grindcore filth. Gorerotted are like early Carcass covering Cannibal Corpse while somehow sounding silly and carefree. It sounds like everything else while sounding like nothing else. The riffs and rhyming song titles are pretty sick as well.
