cracking version of open the door to your heart, by chris farlowe, one of the most underated soul singers ever, his version of handbags & gladrags is also the best.

anna king, mama's got a bag of her own, one of my favourite northern soul dancers, awesome!

As you probably know Doni Burdick and the hugely popular Darrell Banks made excellent versions, but the best of all in my opinion is a toss up between JJ Barnes and Jackie Wilson's efforts.

i would opt for jackie wilson, but i'm biased, as i think jackie wilson's the man, but darrell banks version is equally as good, what ya think of anna kings, mama's got a bag ?

I think your taste in soul music is bloody marvelous.
