haha yeah i hear you. I think john gruden is just kind-off a dumbass. Give me him over Joe Buck still. Seriously, most of it is pretty awful.

But these la guys sound like need to snort some xanax or get a chai latte or some BS throwing little mini tantrums. I guess when your fanbase is predicated on Jack Nicholsons frown face it doesnt help.

debaserr 12-11-2012 11:43 AM

I like John Gruden, and I agree, the LA commentators are awful (esp the white guy).

Every year in Laker Land without a championship is last place to Buss. I've been through the Van Exel/Eddie Jones years and understand you can't win em all.

[QUOTE=Bloozcrooz;1261382]I hear ya Fred, they have just really disappointed me so I'm just playing it by. Ear till footballs done. Can't afford the energy spent being a cowboys fan as well.
:

The Boys have a tough schedule, hopefully they don't lose Dez for the year, hes been outstanding the past five games.

I noticed that. Dude has got some skills. LA still had a chance down the stretch and then decided to **** the bed on 3's. This weak schedule hasn't helped yet. The Knicks are on fire too, should make for a great game on Thursday.

Sparky 12-12-2012 05:09 PM

How much can steve nash really fix? It's not the offense thats a complete shamble, it's the d, and steve's old ass is going to get balled on by people half his age.

Its the complete out of synch play all around. Their D is horrible and their offensive sets are almost as bad. Steve Nash wasn't exactly setting the world on fire last year so it looks bad.

debaserr 12-12-2012 07:19 PM

Yea, the offense has been dreadful after the first few games with D'antoni. I dunno why he isn't trying to get Kobe to be a playmaker, because we are getting absolutely terrible PG play. Neither one of them can run a PNR set, they keep getting trapped.

The last two games have been so bad to watch I turned them off somewhere in the 3rd quarter.

I can't recall seeing a Laker team this incapable of spacing the floor to get some looks. Its mind boggling how atrocious they are on both sides of the ball. Even the Del Harris years are looking good compared to this dog**** on parquee.

Sparky 12-13-2012 04:10 PM

Kobe is balling out at least. I don't know why la bothered with antwon jamison. Rumor is the timberwolves have a package of derrick williams and nikolai pekovic for pau gasol.

The Lakers are gonna need Gasol though. They need a post threat who can at least hit his ass with his hands at the free throw line late in games.

Sparky 12-13-2012 04:14 PM

Pekovic would be an amazing bench center to fill in for howard though. Your team would have the two strongest centers probably.

Derrick Williams may be better in the d'antoni offense but yeah, nobody is expecting the deal to happen.

Would be interesting and it would bolster both lineups. I doubt that Gasol gets traded myself.

debaserr 12-13-2012 07:37 PM

Williams hasn't done anything in the NBA, that trade will not happen; the Lakers lose way too much talent in it.

Franco Pepe Kalle 12-14-2012 01:37 PM

Lakers are 9-14. They need to youth up or soon they will fade much quicker.

Dr_Rez 12-14-2012 06:45 PM

Howard will be on another team next year anyways. He is a free agent and just wants a championship.

Franco Pepe Kalle 12-15-2012 06:40 PM

I will have to wait and see. Dwight Howard is become a major shadow of himself. I can see why Shaquille O'Neal is a critic of Howard.

Of coarse he is a critic thats his job on ESPN. He gets paid for that.

Sparky 12-26-2012 03:24 PM

dude blake griffins dunk last night was wild. Haven't seen anything like it in a while, nearly from the free throw line, wish i could find a gif from it.

Dude didn't even have a running start he just straight up hopped like 30 feet

so i found the youtube video and i was certainly exaggerating but this is a nasty dunk

debaserr 12-26-2012 03:45 PM

It looks pretty standard (for him) to me.

Sparky 12-26-2012 03:52 PM

yeah probably. I was extra blazed and viewed it in real time and it kinda blew my mind

Franco Pepe Kalle 12-26-2012 04:29 PM

One game that I look foward to is Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets. It will be a great game.

derek 12-29-2012 11:44 PM

Clippers will win their division unless some major injury...how long has it been since they won their division?

Rockets are one of the better teams in the West....i think only Thunder, Spurs, Clippers, Grizzlies, and Lakers are better.

Bloozcrooz 01-17-2013 08:48 PM

The Lakers just turned it over 4 times in a row and the result was 4 dunks in a row from the Heat. Pathetic

Yea I am also pretty disappointed. In all fairness Lakers played well just James had an exceptional game and when he is on he doesn't lose. 40 points? I do feel the Lakers are getting much better especially since Howards back and healthy.

The Lakers just need to hold their intensity for 48 minutes on defense. They are certainly improving and starting yesterday were only 3 back of the 8th spot so there is still hope.

Sparky 01-18-2013 10:31 AM

every player on the twolves is injured now :(

Franco Pepe Kalle 01-18-2013 10:35 AM

It is so sad. The Timberwolves would be a playoff team if was not for these stupid injuries.

Sparky 01-18-2013 10:37 AM

i don't know who the health/conditioning people for the wolves organization are but they don't seem to be doing a good job

Franco Pepe Kalle 01-18-2013 10:38 AM

I agree. Kevin Love is expected to be out for minumum of 2 months.

Sparky 01-18-2013 11:19 AM

adelman could be done for the rest of the season too.

I swear someone has a voodoo out on broy, whatever team he joins is doomed to injury

Howard does not impress me with his play. I thought he was a better baller than what he actually is and his free throws are frighting to watch. Other than the blocked shots he gets and a few boards to me he is relatively a non factor. Even in the paint whenever he got the ball last night he struggled to get easy buckets.
Lebron did have a big game but you gotta know he's gonna get his points especially against the Lakers D right now. They just cant seem to find a rhthym on D. The offense has been looking decent averaging like 103 a game or something?

I would be excited to see them hold their intensity for even 2 quarters on D.

Dr_Rez 01-18-2013 12:41 PM

He airballed one in the 3rd. AIRBALLED!
