any givin sunday the Titans are murking the phins right now

Sparky 11-18-2012 02:53 PM

The cowboys got a lot of help from the refs today.

10 first downs, and a lot of no-calls.

gunnels 11-18-2012 06:43 PM

Just popping in to say that the Steelers' new uniforms make them look like a swarm of bumblebees.

It wouldn't be so bad if their socks didn't match their jerseys.

Plankton 11-19-2012 08:24 AM

Bears are gonna need a miracle tonight.

anticipation 11-19-2012 09:12 AM

Have faith and some Campbell's soup tonight for good luck.

lol

At least it's not the Clown. They scare me.

Thom Yorke 11-19-2012 11:18 AM

Man, it's so wide open right now. No one is separating themselves from the pack, whether it's for elite teams or wild card candidates.

debaserr 11-19-2012 02:58 PM

The worst part about those Steelers unis are the gross pants. Tan and bright yellow just don't blend.

Sparky 11-19-2012 05:19 PM

I'm picking chicago to win tonight. I actually like campbell, he was looking kinda good starting for oakland until he got injured.

C'mon, man. You're better than that.

Sparky 11-21-2012 02:30 PM

I'm just outsmarting myself too much bro. I need to make more conventional choices.

Seriously tho, did not see kaerpenick coming out slinging like that. I still like campbell

Forward To Death 11-21-2012 02:42 PM

He had 107 yards passing. Campbell will never amount to anything more than a mediocre QB in this league.

Sparky 11-21-2012 02:46 PM

I guess if we're going by numbers Christian Ponders 70 would indicate he will never be anything other than a shit qb.

Campbell was playing a top 3 defense behind the second worst offensive line in the league.

Forward To Death 11-21-2012 02:53 PM

Ponder threw for 198 and 2 TDs and completed 75% of his passes against that same team. Campbell has been mediocre since he busted in Washington. How many years of proof is there that Campbell is a piece of **** QB?

Sparky 11-21-2012 03:00 PM

He's got roughly the same passer rating as Cutler if I'm looking right.

Ponder threw for worse, against a worse team. Ponder has a better offensive line, no doubt.

Campbell had coaching issues, injury issues, while being on two poor teams. Lots of mitigating circumstances, it's not always as black and white as "campbell is a **** quaterback or a good quarterback"

Is he great? No. I do think he's solid though.

Forward To Death 11-21-2012 03:22 PM

LOL Cutler is much better. I'll leave it at that, I think you know more than that, or maybe you don't and that's why you think passer rating is a valid system.

And Ponder shredded the 9ers, enough said, I wasn't discussing any other game, because it's a moot point. Campbell has never ever been anything but average, and many times he's been less.

Sparky 11-21-2012 03:28 PM

Never did type anything to insinuate Campbell is better. I don't know why your one game statistic is more valid than an aggregate passer rating but I'm sure you have your crazy reasons.

I think Campbell has had 2 seasons without being injured. One of them being his rookie year. I don't know why im relinquishing all this info, it's moot. It only takes 1 game to en-light the crystal ball and see forever into the future.

Forward To Death 11-21-2012 03:41 PM

Lol, if that's the straw man you choose to go to, so be it. But Campbell sucks THROUGH THE YEARS. I've said that. He's AWFUL in the red zone, he's never had more than 20 TDs, and the guys you're trying to use to split hairs about (Ponder and Cutler) are both significantly better.

Tim Tebow had a passer rating of 90 late into last season, completing 45% of his passes, constantly going 3-and-out, and only scoring seldomly as a passer, because he didnt throw interceptions. It's true that not throwing interceptions is important (something Campbell is admittedly good at) but he isn't adequate in other aspects as a passer.

Sparky 11-21-2012 04:04 PM

I'm not arguing campbell is better. I don't know why you think that. I think Campbell is solid. He was about to take the raiders to the playoffs that one year, i remember being happy for him.

He's solid in that Alex Smith sort of way, yeah, but you compared him twice to better QBs, I don't know why you'd do that. It's totally beside the point that he sucked, and has never been anything other than adequate.

debaserr 11-21-2012 10:32 PM

You actually post like Deandra Reynolds, it's pretty funny.

Forward To Death 11-22-2012 11:38 AM

Is that you Rickety Cricket?

Btw, Lions looking competitive so far. Love thanksgiving football.

Thom Yorke 11-22-2012 01:01 PM

The NFL needs to change up their rule book. That Forsett TD was absurd.

Forward To Death 11-22-2012 01:05 PM

That was unreal. Forsett didn't hear a whistle so he just ran for it. 100% on the refs.

debaserr 11-22-2012 02:09 PM

They need a damn chip in the ball. Refs are so inconsistent on spots.

Forward To Death 11-22-2012 06:26 PM

RG3 was a machine. 4 TDs, 300 yards, completed most of his passes again.

Sparky 11-23-2012 02:07 PM

Cowboys tackling is a joke. So many times a receiver caught the ball and nobody except the man assigned to him does anything but idly stare.

Bloozcrooz 11-25-2012 02:46 PM

Randy Moss blocking like a champ out on the edge to allow his QB to get in for the score. Honestly I hope San Fran wins the Super Bowl just so Moss can finally get him a much deserved ring.

Think that was the year the Giants beat them. 16-0 and then a loss

Forward To Death 11-25-2012 03:40 PM

It's crazy to think the Pats haven't won since 2004.

Bloozcrooz 11-25-2012 03:44 PM

108 points in the last two games for the Pats is even crazier

Exo 11-25-2012 08:40 PM

I love our defense. 49ers going to the superbowl with that team of badasses.

Thom Yorke 11-25-2012 08:42 PM

The Packers look absolutely pitiful right now. No defense and they can't protect Rodgers at all.

Yes sir. That upending interception was so satisfying to watch. It's a shame Kaepernick is getting most of the credit for the win today.

debaserr 11-25-2012 09:22 PM

49ers QB situation is shaky at best. It's not like Kaepernick is a proven vet. The last time a mediocre QB won the Super Bowl was 2001.

Bloozcrooz 11-25-2012 09:58 PM

I havent read up on anything yet is Kaepernick going to replace Smith permanatley? Thats pretty messed up if thats the case if your Alex Smith. I mean I honestly dont know which QB would be better but he has not done to bad of job this season so far. I mean I've said it before I dont think that he is a come from behind QB but he's more likely not to lose a game for ya either by making bad decisions or having a gun slinger mentality. Sucks he goes out with a concussion and gets his job taken if that is in fact what happened. As far as Kaperscratch or whatever his name is he does seem to be a little more agile than Smith and give them a certain spark on the field that lacks when Smith is at the helm. Still I think its a little late in the season to be switching things up. Of course I dont know all the facts yet but if that is in fact whats taken place, I wouldn't be as good of sport as Alex Smith is being about it.

Bloozcrooz 11-26-2012 09:40 PM

Man I feel sorry for Andy Reid. I really think he came back to football to quick after his sons death and didn't give himself enough time to grieve and heal completely. Its no doubt contributed to the downward spiral the Eagles have continued traveling down. As a division rival I like seeing them lose I just feel bad for Andy.

Forward To Death 11-27-2012 05:29 AM

He will have a job mext year as a HC. He is one of the best in the league, and Philadelphia sports fans are ****ing brutal so it's not really the worst thing in the world.

Philly fans **** on their own players/coaches all of the time, and Andy Reid is about the best coach they've ever had. They booed the **** out of him, knowing what he's gone/going through. Very, very sad.

Sparky 11-27-2012 10:40 AM

philly played great considering they had virtually no-starters. Nick Foyles looks good to me, I've never seen a qb with so few snaps read the defense and call audibles that well.
