I usually do intervals and build myself up but the 5km was booked quite last minute and I was inbetween running shoes so couldn’t really train until I bought myself some new ones . It wasn’t a timed event but my watch tracked it as 40mins 56 seconds. It is called Ruff Dugger (lol) which is a trail/obstacle course for you to do with your dog so it was great fun for us both. All the volunteers around the course kept cheering my dog on because she’s so little Thank you both I have a 10km in November so I better get training

...trail....obstacle course.... These are not the words I want to hear when I am considering going for a jog
So 40 mins is a very impressive time. Congrats again to you and your dog !

it was great fun!! I think it took pressure off of the run because you were constantly having to think about what you were doing.
Thank you very much Lisna! I’m chuffed with us both
