That's very strange, these days (at least around here) bodies are preserved by removing draining the blood and replacing it with some sort of preservation chemical. They must have not been able to afford it or in their country they don't want to preserve the body after someone has died.

I'm pretty sure she had a good reason to do it based off of something she felt may have happened or maybe she had proof that something else happened but that still doesn't justify what she did.
