The vast majority of people in the US think of this in regard to Jesus. He's the guy portrayed in all of the churches after all.

Serious question. Why did the Roman Catholic Church promote that image of Jesus in the first place?

Probably because the common image of Jesus was created by a bunch of ignorant people who had never seen an Arab and thought everyone was white. I've seen pics of the Mongols in paintings of Marco Polo's adventures that makes them look blonde haired and blue eyed.

no, i'm not. and its not about that, man. i use allahu akbar sometimes. like its not just something you say before you bomb a place. it can be used also when you're surprised or instead of mashallah and other phrases. it doesn't mean i actually think god is great i don't even believe in god, its just a common phrase. like thank god. i say mashallah, el7amdila, bismillah. all of these phrases contain the word god even tho i don't believe in god. the arabic language is just this way. i'm not going to change it or even try to change it. all my saying is its really NOT the way you think it is.

I know that Allahu Akbar means "god is greater". And I know it is used in moments of happiness. Not just bombing people. I've read the Qur'an etc etc.
