Dude.... If Trump strikes down Obama's rules stating that retirement advisers haveto work in the best interests of their clients, and not the banks, that could potentially **** over tens of millions of people who have busted their asses and paid into the system for decades.

What part of that do you not get? Again, step off of your high horse and stop talking down to those who don't jump on your personal train.

You kinda remind me of Joe the Plumber.

I get it, but you also completely ignored the previous point I made in order to be a patronizing asshat when you know absolutely nothing about me. I talked about a potential upside in regards to where Dodd-Frank was weak (and where modifications might make sense) and you resort to backhanded personal insults.

Let's just wait and see what happens. If he does what you think he's going to do, then I'll apologize to you. Capiche?

Fair enough. I'm only going off of the overall tone of your posts. At this point your glass is half full and mine is half empty. Let's see what happens.

It's all good dude. The times right now are just really heated.

No problem friend. Consensus on anything political is tenuous even under the best of circumstances. :)

Election of 2016 proves that we have too many stupid people in my country. Donald Trump is the dumbest of the dumb. As we long as we allow stupid people run things, ****ery will become the honorable and the honorable become a threat. That is what President Trump is proving right now.

Chula Vista 02-03-2017 10:23 PM

Bravo.

Just dropping some truth about the presidency of Donald Trump. I think Donald Trump will eventually find a young woman or a older woman is hotter than Melania Trump.

If I understand correctly, and please anybody tell me if I'm wrong about it, it's stopped funding to international abortion clinics. Meaning we are no longer paying American money taking care of another country's problems.

So even though it might be a stepping stone to Trump banning abortions, the idea behind it is less about denying people that right and more about not pouring American money into other countries. Those problems should not be our problems to fix.

It just seems people hate it because they read the two phrases "stopped funding" and "abortion clinics" with out reading the context of it.

I believe there was something in there about stopping funding for planned parenthood as well but I'll be honest. I haven't read it to find out the exact details.

He can't even if he wanted to. She's the first lady and he will just have to cheat on her and have a secret affair. I don't think you can get a divorce while you are a president.

That is a good question. It has not never happened before but Donald Trump could be the first to do this. I mean with Donald Trump, nothing is predictable with this crackpot.

Chula Vista 02-04-2017 01:42 PM

So a Federal judge from Washington state, who's spent a career dedicated to the little guy, and has done a ton of pro bono (free) work representing immigrants, temporarily halts Trump's immigration (Muslim) ban.

Trump jumps on Twitter and refers to the guy as a "This so called judge".

How'd ya like to be one of Trump's lawyers right now? My guess is that Federal judges are a pretty tight knit group and Trump's zing is not going to sit very well with any of them.

It's absolutely mind blowing how quickly this dude and his advisers are crashing and burning.

There's a more frightening aspect to that tweet. Trump doesn't acknowledge the judiciary branch of government. He actually thinks that the law is his to do his bidding with. It's horrifying that the president thinks he knows more than any single judge that disagrees with him. Why else would he publicly sh*t on him?

What happens when the supreme court doesn't do what he says? Was his pick for SCOTUS purely because he knows he'll do whatever Trump says? I'm convinced it is. Trump wouldn't make a pick unless he was guaranteed things in return. This is the problem with wanting "a business man" in the white house. It isn't what the POTUS can do for you, it's what does the POTUS get in return?

The question is how damage that Donald Trump will bring to our country. We already have too much corruption. Donald Trump will bring more.

I think that is the question because he is already causing damage to our country morally. Many of our western allies are starting want to bail on us, and it is hideous on us. Our image is actually damaged pretty much.

Assuming every worst case scenario is true in regards to Trump going forward, who is really to blame overall for why things are as they are? The GOP for their simplemindedness and disregard for "the little guy" or the Democrats for their incompetence and carelessness that allowed this situation to occur?

Yes.

Also don't forget the public. The nation voted him in and should take the blame as well.

The whole country is to blame for Trump. Including the people that were against him the whole time. Because rather than having a rational discussion with those that disagreed so you could meet at a common ground with a better understanding of each other you guys spat at each other and played this game insults and bickering while cherry picking facts to fit your agenda and ignoring others that could help you understand the other side a bit more.

America is filled with a bunch of closed minded selfish retards so that's what we got for president.
