Yeah I should have refined my statement there... when done right, post rock is awesome... if poorly executed it can be a great big pretentious snoozefest... fortunately i haven't heard alot of post rock that is like that, but I know it's out there...

^^^^ Yes, very true, and a good point, but considering what a 'junk drawer' of a classification post-rock can be, the bands that fall into the category are usually either absolutely amazing or the next great cure for insomnia.
