1. Black metal vocals. Are. Complete. ****.

I can stand industrial metal vocals, I can stand Tom Arayan screaming like a scalded dog, I can (now) stand Rob Halford's operatic vocal delivery, and I can stand (really love) Pantera's vocals, but I cannot get past the vocals on black metal.

Ugh. I had to say that.




2. groove metal/thrash metal/industrial metal/NWOBHM > metalcore > doom metal/death metal (at least death metal has an experimental side to it) > black metal.

It just goes to show it's a popularity contest.
i mean, ppl that know both bands pretty much know the pixies did it better and first, Cobain himself would've admitted this.

I luv both bands, im glad Nirvana is getting in but i think even Dave and Kris would agree the pixies shoulda gone in before them.
