It WAS part of the secret, I know how much hate some nu-metal gets on here. The band shirts I also have that I'm proud of wearing (but are cliche) are Pink Floyd and Led Zep.

Aha, it makes me sad that they're a musical secret.

I really like them.

Toto is cool!

I've never really listened to much of the Deftones but Change (In the House of Flies) was quite a good track.

Check out Snot, the best band to come out of the nu-metal ****hole.

AH! I hate wearing my Floyd T shirts because it makes me look like such a stoner even though I've listened to more Floyd than probably any two stoners combined. For fun, ask a stoner what he thinks of Piper at the Gates...

PartisanRanger 02-08-2009 09:54 AM

Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin shirts are literally the only band t-shirts I ever see anyone wearing.

R.I.P. Lynn Strait.

Seriously? My whole wardrobe is band tees and skate tees. But I never see Floyd or Zep shirts except for occasionally. Three of my friends always wear them though.

Creo 02-08-2009 04:13 PM

That's OK. I like about 4 Journey tracks:

Separate Ways
Girl Can't Help It
Who's Crying Now?
Send Her my Love.

Everything else is meh.

Yeah, I can only speculate that these shirts are more available at big retail outlets. It's a pretty safe bet to stock Floyd and Zep shirts but less so to stock shirts with something like King Crimson on it.

Waterfall is a better song than most music fans of our ilk are willing to admit. T-Boz the singer of the song has a voice that reminds me a lot of Mavis Staples.

Come on... give in to the urge. I'll bet you're going to hit the Play button, but you won't tell anybody you did.

elvi 02-11-2009 06:27 AM

i used to sing along to all the words in dirty songs without knowing what it meant

and also wrote a rap song with my friend using as many innuendos as possible...ohh it was terrible

NSW 02-11-2009 07:12 AM

I really like a couple songs from Jordin Sparks' album...

Yeah, I actually like that song quite a bit.

scottsy 02-12-2009 07:53 PM

Ugh, I can't stand that song, from its melody to its very notion that sticking with safe things is the way to go in life.... no thanks, not for me...

Hey, don't go crying waterfalls. :p:

Alfred 02-12-2009 08:40 PM

My deepest musical secret: I don't own my favorite album on CD.

scottsy 02-12-2009 09:01 PM

I think my favourite album is a secret I am not even aware of...hehehehehe.... it seems to change frequently enough to make it kinda pointless to pick a favorite... I am not nearly decisive enough to pin down a favorite album and stick to it...

Shoe 02-13-2009 10:26 PM

I found my deepest musical secret ever. You know those breakup songs ****ty artists right? My friend and I wrote on as a joke:

Its called "I Want My Ex-Boyfriend Back"

This world... is not for me
Oh baby,
Can't you see
With your eyes?
They must be blind
Because I'm the sexieset bitch you ever got to GRIND!!

Refrain:
This Pain, underneath my bosom is too much.
Yeah this ache beneath my jugs is for youuu...
And I miss you bad, and I want you back, I know my love is true.
What to do?
About this pain beneath my boob.

I sniff your clothes... like a creeper
Your grimreaper
Costume smells like youuu...
And I'm climbin this figurative mountain
I hope it does not get steeper,
Because I might come crashing DOOOOWN!

REFRAIN

I love you so... that my love's out of stock
for any other man or any other-- Faaace!

REFRAIN

Come back to me... come back to us
Because without you... there's only three
just me and my booooooo ooo ooooo ooo o o ooooo ooo obs!!
just me and my boobs
