Savage Garden = Boyband Pop masquerading as credible pop / rock songwriting, on the basis that the "band" wrote their own music. Whatever.

crash_override 02-20-2009 10:56 PM

I used to listen to Metallica..... alot :(

Me too... though not by choice.

XOE 02-21-2009 02:35 AM

I come off as a metal fan but people are surprised to find out I like Bjork tons.

khfreek 02-21-2009 08:25 AM

I shouldn't like this song... but goddamnit, I do:

FaSho 02-21-2009 08:28 AM

I used to watch that video all the time!
And while we're on the subject of country, the duo Montgomery Gentry are amazing.

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 10:33 AM

I could only last 53 seconds

FaSho 02-21-2009 10:43 AM

It's not that bad...<.<

lucifer_sam 02-21-2009 10:45 AM

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 10:45 AM

Surell 02-21-2009 10:57 AM

Yeah, cheesy.

Alfred 02-21-2009 11:25 AM

I thought it was nice.

Surell 02-21-2009 11:28 AM

I thought you're lame.

;D

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 12:33 PM

wtf is going on?
this is madness...

Surell 02-21-2009 12:34 PM

I think we're discussing Savage Garden.

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 12:34 PM

and people are liking it?

Surell 02-21-2009 12:38 PM

Apparently so. That or sarcasm is eluding you. I think it's sarcasm myself. If it's not people have secrets I don't even wanna know about on this board.

Farfisa 02-21-2009 01:50 PM

This is the first time of heard of Savage Garden, what's so bad about them?

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 02:08 PM

be very afraid...

Feign 02-21-2009 03:39 PM

I have a few that I'm horribly afraid to admit.

(as in I have one of the songs from HSM3, if you don't know what that stands for, that's definitely a good thing)

Oh, and William Hung's first (possibly only) CD. But I was young when I got that..

Musicgasm 02-21-2009 04:01 PM

A few of my favourite bands were at one point just bands I listened to because of boys I liked.

After all the time I spent listening to them- I genuinely started to like them :)

crash_override 02-21-2009 04:52 PM

Savage Garden is pretty bad.

scottsy 02-21-2009 08:29 PM

Darren Hayes (lead singer) solo stuff is even more atrocious...

4ZZZ 02-21-2009 10:19 PM

Geez folks Savage Garden are an incredibly soft target. May as well bitch about The Bay City Rollers. Look it aint my kind of stuff but they are not that bad in their given genre are they? Not sure if I disliked them that much I would even listen to them and then bother commenting. Seems like a waste of listening time to me.

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 10:21 PM

uh yeah I guess 53 seconds is just time I'll never get back.

jacklovezhimself 02-21-2009 10:30 PM

Anne Rice's favorite band --

I think they have the lamest name - reminds me of all
the stupid vampire clubs in NYC --

As for music...well there's always going to be bay city rollers fans
in the world. Sad but true. They have their niche

joeybot 02-23-2009 01:07 AM

The things that some people might be slightly ashamed of others might find totally rad. So here it goes, I am a punk rocker but I love my 90's dance music. Phew! That took about 10 minutes to finish typing.

scottsy 02-24-2009 10:11 PM

Its really ok to play one kind of music and listen to another! It probably will actually make you better in the long run, anyways!

HolidayG1 02-26-2009 10:44 AM

LOL I have Ultimate Manilow. For that kind of music- cheesy love songs- he's one of the best. Sometimes I'm just in a mood to listen to that stuff.

jdm11b 02-26-2009 12:11 PM

"Head Over Heals" by Tears for Fears is my favorite song of all-time.

I like James Taylor.

And I hardly own any of my favorite albums, I listen to them on youtube. Nearly all but about 10 of my albums are at least 10 years old.

jacklovezhimself 02-26-2009 03:41 PM

I own every A.F.I. album.
