Your kids?

*shudder*

boo boo 08-03-2010 05:33 PM

As revenge for that remark I will tell them about this website.

Urban Hat€monger ? 08-03-2010 05:37 PM

That would involve you getting laid in my lifetime.

I won't hold my breath.

Urban Hat€monger ? 08-03-2010 05:40 PM

I think you're mixing up mainsteam & the music of someone's generation as being the same thing.

It isn't.

Perfect example, the Velvet Underground were a perfect example of the kind of thing that was happening in the late 60s, but they were about as far removed from being mainstream as you could get.

The tracks I've heard are utterly horrendous :(

RVCA 08-04-2010 11:57 AM

Yes, I'm actually not excited. I have no hopes at all for the new album. I just thought it'd be fun to annoy Paloma + others.

downwardspiral 08-04-2010 11:59 AM

Are you still into them?

RVCA 08-04-2010 12:00 PM

Sure! I don't dislike Linkin Park, but I do agree that MtM was rather bleh and that upcoming albums will probably be even bleh-er.

downwardspiral 08-04-2010 12:01 PM

Ah, for some reason I thought you were a massive fanboy. Not sure why.

RVCA 08-04-2010 12:04 PM

this why?

Top Artists

Haha maybe. I've never been on your last.fm though.

Did you ever see them live?

RVCA 08-04-2010 12:29 PM

Yes, my girlfriend took me to Project Revolution two summers ago.

uhhh what?

i'm not just talking about popular music paloma

scottsy 08-04-2010 02:01 PM

I find it funny that most fans of Linkin Park deride Minutes to Midnight yet I actually liked it best out of all their albums... I guess maybe because it was a departure from a style I wasn't initially all that fond of...

jtwilliams 08-04-2010 02:38 PM

I liked Linkin Park when they were a little more Hip-Hop. It just fit better for them I think.

Stone Birds 08-04-2010 03:00 PM

i used to like rap music. but then as soon as i became a teenager i realized how terrible it was.

Yeah. I liked it when there was more Mike and less Chester.

scottsy 08-04-2010 03:24 PM

Opposite for me...

Have you heard Mike's side project Fort Minor?

Its pretty good stuff.

scottsy 08-04-2010 03:31 PM

I like Chester's voice... the overt hip hop elements of their sound, to me, leave them kinda rooted in the late nineties, which to me is a forgettable time when Limp Bizkit ruled the airwaves...

OctaneHugo 08-04-2010 03:34 PM

linkin park is still a great band what are you talking about

brb, have to go to the mall to buy school stuff. going into 7th grade!

hey, don't diss the seventh graders. I just came out of that terrible year, but I must admit, a lot of them sure are stupid.

(I was held back a grade btw, if you were wondering.)

Yesterday at the record store I had to move out of the way for an older lady with a walker and my hand briefly touched a Justin Bieber CD. I think I may need to amputate because I can't seem to wash the dirt off... Out, damn'd spot! out, I say!

I think this puts it in perspective.

It actually makes it worse because I actually held onto that Crazy Frog CD and contemplated buying it. That's way worse, I'll probably have to amputate my entire arm.
