I'm listening to the entire album right now. :D

I couldn't sit through an entire Lady Gaga album... a song here or there, sure, but not a whole album, I gotta say.

Wow, this is ironic considering the other day you said only gay guys liked her.

inarticulate 08-01-2010 02:22 PM

I know all the words to Ashlee Simpson's "autobiography" album. From beginning to end, I GOT U.

Sljslj 08-01-2010 02:33 PM

I bought John Cena's rap album the first day it was out and enjoyed it.

You ****ing would

Dayvan Cowboy 08-01-2010 06:42 PM

the first CD i ever bought (in the third grade) was a Hillary Duff CD.
I think I still have it lying around somewheres. I also used to love pop music, and had fairly generic tastes. I'm ashamed of myself, really.

also, both me, my dad and my mom own "Last Splash" by the breeders.

ribbons 08-01-2010 06:45 PM

I like Slade. :)

Hey, Hillary Duff was the **** in 3rd grade. I had Metamorphasis and the Lizzy McGuire Movie soundtrack.

... and I have Last Splash too. That's embarrassing?

glastonelle 08-01-2010 10:51 PM

^ Back in the day having a Hilary Duff album was like instant pass to coolness. I admit to still owning the Most Wanted CD, and since this is the deepest musical secrets thread, I may aswell go along and say that until recently, I had the song Beat of My Heart on my iPod... :p:

ha, i remember when Hillary Duff came to our city. unfortunately, I couldn't go because my mom was mad at me because I spilled orange juice on her work stuff. I was so mad.

and, the reason I included last splash there was because both my parents own it too, and there's a 20-year difference between us. I just found that slightly embarrassing-ish,.

I genuinely like this album. Most probably because of the memories attached I think, Hand In My Pocket, You Oughta Know and Head Over Feet are awesome though.

I own Kylie Minogue's Light Years and Robbie Williams' Sing When You're Winning, and I still listen and enjoy them now. YES

Sljslj 08-03-2010 03:02 AM

The first concert I ever went to was Nickelback.

downwardspiral 08-03-2010 03:05 AM

My first was Franz Ferdinand.

Sounds cool. Never seen 'em, but I'm sure they'd be great.
The Nickelback show was cool at the time cuz I was really into them. Hinder, Three Days Grace and Chevelle opened for them and I remember enjoying the whole show, except Chevelle.

As do I. I think everyone else on MB hates his guts :shycouch:

downwardspiral 08-03-2010 04:23 AM

Robbie Williams is ****ing awesome. I detest Take That, but Robbie solo.. Hell yes.

scottsy 08-03-2010 07:54 AM

Each to their own... I am totally not into Robbie except maybe for Angels, which is admittedly a very sweet ballad, and that's from someone who is not hugely into ballads...

Dayvan Cowboy 08-03-2010 01:18 PM

I secretly like enya.

:shycouch:

Sljslj 08-03-2010 01:21 PM

I used to dig N'SYNC.

thomasracer56 08-03-2010 02:06 PM

I used to love mainstream and my family doesn't have a musical background, but my dad still is very passionate about music though he does not show it.

Schizotypic 08-03-2010 04:41 PM

I secretly hate all types of music fans.

That's not bad at all. She has one hell of a voice and her songs are gorgeous. I don't really listen to her much but when my sister puts her on I don't mind at all. I just don't enjoy her stuff enough to really go out and get any of her albums.

As for me, this was my first CD!

http://1gabba.com/pics3/brain-smashers.jpg

Or maybe it was Apurimac 3? I'm not sure. One of the two.

SATCHMO 08-03-2010 05:18 PM

I'm afraid that my biggest fear of getting old and subsequently not being able to understand the music that today's youth are listening to may be an impending reality.

SATCHMO 08-03-2010 05:19 PM

...but it's only because it's so ****ING boring!!!!!!!

Urban Hat€monger ? 08-03-2010 05:23 PM

Yeah you're right.

I'm actually disappointed I don't find today's music to be the tuneless racket my parents thought mine was.

boo boo 08-03-2010 05:29 PM

I'm not even that into music from MY generation, I'm more into what came before it. So I'll probably be a f*cking assh*le when I'm middle aged and talking about the music my kids are listening to, if I ever have kids.
