This is a nice one to join the next class of inductees.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I have always had a soft spot for the Kinks, then I checked out their later stuff such as 'Village Green' and was flabbergasted at how influential they were. A resounding yes. Alays more interesting lyrically to the Beatles too. Quintessentially English.

It's a yes for The Kinks from me... but looking at the first post, how in the hell did Yes lose? and Wu-Tang Clan got 19-19? The mind boggles.

You can do as many as you want, but i'll give priority to members who haven't already had one nominated.

Yes... An amazing band, and hugely important during the British Invasion... Certainly my favourite of the bunch.Certainly underrated by the people around me, save their huge commercial hit in 'You Really Got Me'.

Very influential.

Some bands should automatically get in without any voting.

The Kinks are one of those bads.

Yes,

The Kinks are extremely underatred and deserve more recognition.
