I may be a little nit-picky here but I still have a problem with that statement. Your boyfriend shouldn't let you do anything. It still implies control. I'm guessing and hoping that's not really the case and perhaps not worded the best. But you are both just individuals in a partnership, which heavily requires respect and support for the others' decisions and lifestyle.

Ask him to teach you how to swear in Serbian.

My girl knows her place. You can't just let them run free around society acting like they're equals. This isn't 1995. A woman should know her place, either in the kitchen or cleaning something else. And she won't have any male friends, she already has one. I can't wait for the replies. Bring it.

Oh it was really poorly worded. If I ever had to ask him permission to lead my own life a certain way, I would have dumped his ass a long time ago. I guess I could say that yes, we are both individual people who share a life together but remain independent at the same time (I have no idea if that makes sense at all)

Do you think so? I've rarely known men to get worked up about their girlfriends going out with her old friends. To be honest I've more often encountered girls who won't let their boyfriends meet other girls (with usually well-founded suspicion).

Now here's my question - supposing you found your perfect woman, one who's independent and speaks for herself but also happens to have all the curves you could wish for (which I believe is your kind of girl). Supposing you get married. Supposing the first issue of money arises, but she asks to take it upon herself to sort out the bills and taxes. At this point you don't even know whether she's brilliant with money, all she does is ask you to trust her.
What will you do? Do you trust her? Or do you put your foot down and demand you fulfill the typical dominant male role?

I wouldn't call it well-founded at all. Girls are just as likely to cheat as men from my perspective.

Franco already said he was handling the bills.

Also the first paragragh how would it be well founded? Girls are just as likely to cheat as men. I know this through personal experience and friends who have gone through it.

No you're absolutely right, no particular sex is more likely to cheat, there are just as many ****s in each gender. However, I was saying I thought guys were usually cooler about their partner still hanging around all their friends, but I've heard loads of guys complaining that their girlfriend wasn't letting them meet other girls.
