This is very sad news, Trollheart.

In case people aren't aware of his stature, not just as a musician, and not just in Ireland: The Chieftans made many collaborative albums with other folk musicians from France, Spain, Mexico, as well as the big-name stars mentioned in this short "videobituary", if that's a word yet:-

I'm sure he was a war criminal with a heart of gold. You know Rudolf Hess risked his life flying into enemy territory to make peace with the British. A real unappreciated hero.
