Today, this older lady I work with started suddenly playing a YouTube video or something really loudly on her computer. It went on for a while so I looked over at her and there she was, with her earbuds in, thinking that's what she was hearing the sound through.

Off to Microsoft for the day. Woo!

DwnWthVwls 01-04-2017 10:31 AM

There's a dick joke there somewhere...

Chula Vista 01-04-2017 11:51 AM

Woke up early and immediately felt queasy so went back to bed for a couple more hours. Again got up and immediately knew it wasn't a matter of if, but when. And then it happened! I think the last time it happened I was just a kid. Thankfully there was a clean waste basket right next to the john. Yup, the only place I wasn't expelling stuff from was my ears. Oh, and a large glass of orange juice doesn't come back up very well either.

How about a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray?

I am in desperate need of a spicy deluxe ChikfilA sandwich today. But the other car seat is forty miles away so I can't leave the house :(

I had a couple of friends over for drinks. One guy who got totally smashed kept going on about homosexuals and how he can't understand the appeal of another man's ass. He then proceeded to really embarrass himself by talking about how he's afraid to wipe because he had to touch his own ass.

ffs

And this is the guy who used to go to Thailand all the time and fuck uncut lady-boys.

So 95% probability he's gay?

So I hadn't been driving my car for a few weeks because the transmission took a dump as I was driving to math class one night, and I was waiting to take it to a mechanic until I could decide whether or not I wanted to put any more money into it, but I took it on a test drive around my neighborhood last week after it had stopped raining and everything seemed ok, I thought I may be able to get another year out of it - I only drive about 10mi/day anyway.

Then last night it was stolen (or was it Sunday night? I'm not really sure. I've had some time off and I definitely remember seeing it Sunday but maybe it was there Monday too? I honestly don't know), and whoever took it dumped it like 2 miles away from my house, on private property, so it got towed at the same time I was making the police report, and it looks like the engine totally gave out on them. Joke's on the thief, I guess, they probably tried to use the heater and the windshield wipers at the same time or something - you can't DO THAT to poor ol' Vigor Charles.

Anyway so I don't want to pay to get it towed back to my house or to a mechanic or anywhere, really, so in the end I cut my losses and surrendered my title to the towing company, who will sell it to pick n pull or whatever. I just got back from giving them my keys, and paying the $200 towing fee (because not even a copy of my police report would convince them the car was stolen before the time of towing, though they did knock off the storage cost) so essentially I just paid $200 to get rid of my car. Today sucks.

Key 01-04-2017 03:56 PM

After today, I'm looking forward to what the rest of this year has to offer. 2017 is off to a great start!

Don't worry. Your failures will begin afresh soon enough.

That's terrible, Steph. Hopefully 2017 has something really good in store for you. Better, or it'll have me to answer to.

Trollheart doesn't sound that threatening. Maybe you could change the name if you do decide to take on 2017?

Maybe something that didn't come from his unpublished fantasy novel.

Yeah, if you saw a nine-foot monster made out of solid rock coming at you then you might change your mind...

No, not sci-fi. Just fantasy. And I'm rewriting it at the moment. It now bears the working title There, But Not Necessarily Back Again.
