I just played Rock Band for the first time a couple of nights ago...that was some crazy fun! I was kickin' ass as the drummer. Of course, it was on easy, but still.

Created a new character in Fallout 3, going the neutral route this time, so far it's been pretty amazing, I've got like 4000 caps, I'm only level 15 and I've jacked my lockpick, small guns, speech, and repair skills up to 100.

Alfred 03-13-2009 06:26 PM

Metroid Prime 3 again. Completed another 3% of the game today. I've been playing for over ten hours apparently, but I've also died a lot, so it should really add up to more.

It's really rewarding once you complete a big objective.

PinkCigarette 03-13-2009 09:41 PM

Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Darkest Hour 03-13-2009 10:18 PM

Single player for the most part, ive played co-op with friends on their xbox's.

I've already beat it once, this game is almost exactly what i wanted. I'm addicted.

My only real complaint is the new inventory system.

sweet_nothing 03-17-2009 12:28 AM

I heard it was small and you can only access it in real time. Also that in the single player that chick's AI sucks and wastes alot of ammo. I'm still getting it though. X play gave it a 3/5 while IGN gave it like a 9/10.

Anyway I'm playing though GTA4 again.

Alfred 03-17-2009 03:19 PM

X-Play is always so critical of games.

Mod cheating, are we?
;)

I love Fallout3.
I did my first runthrough as linear as possible just to get through it. I was a damn saint. Ran after my dad the whole way. Barely discovered anything, my guns were all busted. Only side-quests I attempted were some of Moira's annoying quests in Megaton.

I started on my second runthrough, evil, haven't gotten far yet though. I betrayed Megaton and rigged the nuke and blew that place to high heaven, then got a pad at Tenpenny Tower. I'll actually do some plundering. Maybe start slave trading.

I'm going to do a third game as neutral, and that will be where I go and discover every possible area of the game. I hate having to pay attention to a plot when I'm discovering. I like my third game to be free-roaming.

Can't wait to get my computer back so I can play it again.

No, but you can't judge a game solely on their opinion (not implying you did).

It's so corporate now though, I liked the old episodes when it was just Adam and Morgan not all these other douches, I actually preferred when they reviewed bad games back then because it was always funny now its just boring for the most part.

Well I do take notice when everyone else gave it good reviews and they said the game was average, and they do seem to have valid points if you watch the review.

Janszoon 03-18-2009 01:49 AM

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It's pretty fun but it's also a bit of a button masher and I'm not crazy about that.

No cheating, just jacking up those particular skills as well as finding the right bobble heads ;)

Neutral is the way to go in that game, especially when you're a high enough level to get the Impartial Meditation Perk, +30 points in speech as long as you stay neutral. Since I had already tagged that particular skill at the beginning of the game it pushed me to like 95 by the time I was able to get it. Then it was just a matter of finding "Lying: Congressional Style" books laying around, and because I have the Comprehension Perk I get +2 for every book read, instead of +1.

sweet_nothing 03-21-2009 12:53 AM

I'm about 2/3 of the way through GTA4 and I just started playing Resident Evil 5, and I'm not impressed, it's ok.

High Voltage 03-21-2009 01:49 AM

Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock, and I'm damn good at it on medium, I do good on hard too.

Alfred 03-22-2009 05:50 PM

I'm playing this awesome survival horror game.

This week I've been playing GTA Chinatown Wars, non-stop. The only real downside to it, is that on DS, so there are fewer buttons to play with, and the camera views aren't always on point. It's difficult sometimes. Either way, it's definitely a great game.

Nice one.

Does high speech give you any extra dialogue options? Or does it just raise your success percentage?

It does open up some more dialogue options for select characters, but mostly it's just gives you automatic successes, but it's great because you can jack up your rewards, so instead of getting 200 caps, you can get 500 caps and so on and so forth.

woog 03-23-2009 08:33 PM

The story and dialouge is just so awful, also I hated the ending. But other than that I guess it was pretty good.

The dialogue has always been a problem with Resident Evil, criticizing it for that is like criticizing a midget for being short.

sweet_nothing 03-23-2009 10:46 PM

Well after about 8 games I think they would of fixed it by now.

LoathsomePete 03-23-2009 10:57 PM

You'd think, but that's just how the Japanese roll, subtle revenge by plaguing our games with bad dialogue and building cars that are more fuel efficient.

Husky McDump 03-24-2009 12:45 AM

Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2

Someday, I'm gonna beat that final mission.

my theory is that they'll settle in his stomach like chinese worry balls and slowly grind down to nothing. Although I was always amazed at how entire socks pass through a dog's digestive tract and come out the other end... you'd think they would get stuck and kill them or something
