Sleep are close to finishing their new album. That's an excuse to whip this out.

Bro the early 90s had some of the most gnarly, perfected thrash riffs with all the death thrash and tech thrash going around. But just check out this early 90s sick fest of bands.

1990

1991

Thrash was ****ed up till the end, bro.

1992

Brosephs and Brosephettes, if anyone knows of a more underrated old school metal demo than Necro Schizma's Erupted Evil then give that **** to me. This is basically death doom in 1989 when death doom didn't even exist. If you think that Hellhammer's slow **** was awesome then Necro Schizma is your god. Raw primitive ugly hate music.

Derkéta - The Unholy Ground
Merciless - Behind the Black Door
Xysma - Swarming of the Maggots
Voor - Evil Metal
Obscurity - Ovations to Death

Timeghoul isn't as old school I guess since they came around with 2 EPs in 92 and 94 but are still possibly the most underappreciated death metal band ever
