Taking a team with all the tools to have been a star caliber team before he got there, and solidifying their place at the top amongst the rest of the NFL. I like the 9ers and now I'm a believer of Collin Kaepernick.

Congrats Exo

The 9ers held that **** together. Great comeback and stop at the end. ****ing Pats ruined my prediction. Tom Slick **** the bed, The Ravens D held up and they might be a better match for the 9ers then most think. Should be a great matchup.

Yeah, I lost a dollar on that game. If the Ravens take the SB, it'd be one sweet victory, but I doubt it. Still gonna be great to watch.

Should be a great game. Both teams are seemingly matched up very well. I like the 9ers to take it because they have been on a really good roll. I wouldn't mind it if Baltimore wins I like their team makeup, lots of heart in that lineup. Ngata is an absolute mad man.

Bloozcrooz 01-21-2013 01:06 PM

Yeah I was hoping the Pats would make it myself and suprisingly they didn't. I'll be honest I thought the Patriots would dominate that game. Predicting playoff games is always a bitch but I honestly thought that was a sure thing. I guess Brady and Belichick have lost something when it comes to the post season they use to have. They just cant seem to make it over that hump, and maybe the Ravens deserve a lil credit here for how they executed.

At any rate I'm rootin for San Fran in the big bowl game but if the Ravens win then so be it.

djchameleon 01-21-2013 11:37 PM

I'm rooting for my niners to take the bowl but I don't think I'm going to bet on it like I did with that Pats game.

I got 500 bucks off of the Pats game. :pimp:

I don't know anyone who bet the Ravens to win. Good call for sure.

Bloozcrooz 01-25-2013 03:10 PM

Funny how after the fact some folks knew what team was going to win all along.

Exo 01-25-2013 06:34 PM

I never know who is going to win. I play fantasy football but never bet on game outcomes. You can have better players, coaches, talent, and still come away with a loss if the other team wants it more. I didn't know my niners were going to get to the big game, but I knew they were capable of getting there. I was eating a burger today in some random joint and they had Sportscenter on and some other dudes were talking about how the 49ers are the most fun to watch and that they deserve to win. I didn't chime in, just ate my burger, but I had a wonderful feeling the rest of the day. I've been a 49er fan in NJ all my life and I finally get to see them in the big game. I'm like a proud sappy father watching his kid play the ****ing clarinet in the fourth grade holiday musical. It's been a great week.

Bloozcrooz 01-25-2013 06:51 PM

I think if you watch football enough you can get a pretty good grasp on who is going to win. Of course the upsets happen but still, you can sometimes even predict that if you pay close enough attention. Not always about who's hot but as you say who is playin with passion and on the brink. The Cowboys are a prime example of having all the talent and thinking just cause they wear the star on their helmet they have already won the game.

Sparky 01-26-2013 11:22 PM

sorry to beat a dead horse but i can't help but wonder

do you guys believe ray lewis is a murderer?
He has never stated what happened to his white suit during the night of the event. Also read that his tears during his celebrations are fake

I don't know enough about the situation to really have an opinion on it, but I absolutely cannot stand the guy. He comes across like such a phony. I really like the 49ers, but I'd cheer for just about any team over the Ravens just because of Lewis.

Bloozcrooz 01-27-2013 01:19 PM

Same, I honestly dont know enough about the case to have an opinion. Even then you still dont ever really know what happened cause you werent there. As far as liking Ray Lewis, I dont have a problem with the guy. I think he plays with just as much passion as anyone in the league. He's very involved in his community in charity work and helping give back and does a lot of events thats he doesn't have too. Also I think he's a leader on the field and very well respected by most everyone around the league, and has more than earned his place in the HOF. One of and if not arguably the best to have ever played his position and played for a long time. But I'm not one that lets scandals, rumors, or attitude heavily influence my opinion on an athlete. Cause imo it doesnt have anything to do with how good an athlete is. Yes I know the rebuttle to this statement of they are peoples role models and all that and I've heard it many times. To many times we are judge and jury on purely here say and convinced that we know beyond the shadow of a doubt what really happened in a lot of these cases. Then let that pursuade our better judgment of whether or not you decide to like said athlete. I for one dont let accusations or here say influence my opinion because my opinion is based off of what they can do on the field, or what they did on the field in their careers. I think more people should try an do the same.

Ouch. :(
Honestly, I hope he becomes starting QB for another team next year. He's a solid player, and judging by interviews I've read he's a very kind and modest person. Strategically, I think SF made the right call, but boy do I feel sorry for Alex Smith. =\

Predictions anyone? Ravens coming off as slight favorites? I'll say 49ers 24 Ravens 17. I just like the 9ers makeup right now and I think Jim Harbaugh is one hell of a motivator.

He sure sucked as a quarterback.

He was pretty average. He did take that half ass Colts team to the playoffs a couple times if memory serves me correct.

His career with the Bears was forgettable at best.

Forward To Death 02-03-2013 06:17 AM

I got the Ravens, like 17-14.

Exo 02-03-2013 09:38 AM

Hey Ravens!!!!

Sparky 02-03-2013 01:45 PM

I got 49ers 28-24

debaserr 02-03-2013 06:28 PM

I knew the Ravens were winning it since they fluked out a win against the best team (Broncos).

djchameleon 02-03-2013 06:34 PM

I thought it was going to be a closer game than this wtf

debaserr 02-03-2013 07:49 PM

Heh, well.

Exo 02-03-2013 10:12 PM

I am very sad. That is all for now. Just very sad.

gunnels 02-04-2013 12:46 AM

Yeah, our receivers need to learn that when you have the ball in your hands, you aren't supposed to let it go. :(

Sparky 02-04-2013 01:13 AM

kaepernick didn't run it enough, defense never got off balance.

Bad redzone offense in general, kaepernick wasn't posied, either too hesitant or too immediate.

Moss didn't try on a couple incompletions, simply didn't jump on one of them, didn't come back to the ball on another.

Joe Flacco is a beast, he doesn't look cool or anything, but the dude is a legit ass quarterback, even if boldin is doing most of the work. The one play where he just chucked it while being pushed to the side line for 30 yards was a dagger.

I do think that play would have been called holding earlier in the game. He was clearly tugging on his jersey, you could see it, he had both fists clenched on him.

gunnels 02-04-2013 03:51 AM

On another note, the Flaming Lips commercial was awesome.

I don't even remember what they were trying to sell, just Wayne Coyne's awesomeness.

I wasn't even close. Ravens played a good game.

Plankton 02-04-2013 09:00 AM

Bloozcrooz 02-04-2013 12:11 PM

The 49ers got ****in screwed on that no call at the end of the game.

debaserr 02-04-2013 12:12 PM

Yea, that was purdy bad.

FRED HALE SR. 02-06-2013 01:23 PM

I actually got screwed by the safety. Would have won 200 on a square. 9ers just couldn;t get it going early enough.

Bloozcrooz 02-07-2013 09:01 AM

Yeah..I'm just countin down the days till training camp starts now. It especially sucks when basketball ends as well and were stuck with baseball for a few months.

debaserr 02-07-2013 10:17 AM

That's when I abstain for the most part. There may be a few tennis majors I watch during that period.

Exo 02-08-2013 01:35 PM

I don't care for any other sports. Playoff hockey is fun but I don't know anybody by name so it's hard to follow. I just like getting drunk and watching the games.

I'm surprisingly over the fact that my beloved niners lost. It's a new year now.

Sparky 02-08-2013 04:38 PM

if you get directtv super package or some nonsense you get rugby which is pretty good sport otherwise yeah it gets pretty dry after a while.

debaserr 03-11-2013 01:56 PM

Soooo, the Seahawks traded for Percy Harvin. Amazing move if he stays healthy.

I think the Seahawks are gonna be a really strong team this year and it's about time they win a Superbowl

Thom Yorke 03-11-2013 03:37 PM

Boldin to the 9ers as well. Two of the best in the NFC get even better.
