My niners got Boldin for a 6th round pick. I think Trent Baalke has naked pictures of Ozzie Newsome because that's crazy.

debaserr 03-13-2013 07:08 PM

yES Welker to the Broncos! They got 3 studs at WR now.

Exo 03-13-2013 10:27 PM

We lost Goldson to the Bucs. Dude got paid big time. I'm happy for him but I'm going to seriously miss The Hawk in our backfield laying huge hits on defenders. Sad.

Plankton 03-14-2013 11:37 AM

Urlacher is talking to Minnesota? Wha wha WHAT!? Shame on you Bri.

FRED HALE SR. 03-14-2013 11:45 AM

Bush to the Lions also. The Lions have needed a dependable back since forever. Really surprised to see the Pats let someone take Welker. Tom Slick is gonna miss his best possession receiver.

debaserr 03-16-2013 10:22 PM

I'm gonna be livid if the Broncos don't resign Dumervil.

scleaves 04-18-2013 12:07 PM

I'm curious to see how my second favorite team, the Bears, will do without Urlacher at all. I mention them because my first favorite team, the Rams, have no real hope.

They have a good team.

Today was the draft. I'm drunk.
  • Go home Joe Namath. You're drunk.
  • Bwuahahahahahahahaha...****ing Dolphins.
  • Did...did...did the Raiders just make a good draft move?
  • Detroit was all like..."just pick the biggest black dude you can see...yeah that one, with the 3D glasses on."
  • My niners traded up for a Dashon Goldson clone essentially for a 3rd round pick. I'm happy.
  • I'm drunk.
  • Scumbag Bill Belicheck. Traded out of the spot that they had a whole Boston presentation and sh*t. SWEET CAROLINE. F*CK OFF THAT WAS AWKWARD.
  • Roger Goodell sounded like he didn't want to be there. At all.
  • I'm drunk.

FRED HALE SR. 04-26-2013 10:40 AM

Pretty happy with DJ FLUKER for the Bolts. Wanted Warmack but Fluker is a fit. Mock drafts were pretty spot on, even Mel Kiper was about 50 percent and that dude always blows cock.

debaserr 04-26-2013 10:42 AM

That ESPN broadcast last night was shoddy. I mean seriously, Kiper / Berman / Gruden as your top 3 (I like Gruden, hate the others).

Shoddy might be a little nice. Gruden seriously was the only thing going for that broadcast. Hes also the only guy that I would trust commenting on the draft in general. RD 2 still has a lot of upside in it. Geno Smith is a ****ing crybaby. I'm going home ESPN. LOL Teo still on the board, guess nobody wants that baggage.

debaserr 04-26-2013 05:16 PM

What the hell is up with all of these guest intros? It messes up the broadcast too much to be worth it.

Plankton 04-27-2013 06:25 AM

Bears got Kyle Long (Howies kid). Should be a good season. The dudes got 11" hands.

Thats right. Hold your hand up and make a comparison.

Their offensive line is their weakest link, yeah. It was ranked fourth worst last year, I think. And have you ever seen Cutler play when the offensive line actually holds the opposing defense back? He plays like Favre but maybe better.

Yeah, he's much better when he's not getting beat up every play. Give the man a chance to be awesome.

Thom Yorke 04-27-2013 11:57 AM

49ers with a couple great picks in the 4th round. Such a great fit for Lattimore and for the team. They're a team that can take that risk and not rush him back. If they take their time with him and he heals up OK, they could have a great replacement for Gore a bit further down the road.

debaserr 04-27-2013 12:53 PM

I would have loved to see my team get him that late. He is probably the best RB in this class if he can stay healthy.

Lattimore has got some great upside. I really like Green Bays pick of Lacy so late also. He is coming from a great program and heading to another. He is gonna be killing it with the draw plays, I like his ability between the tackles for sure.

Thom Yorke 05-22-2013 04:02 PM

Michael Crabtree could be out for the season with a torn achilles. I really consider him one of the more underrated players in the league and it could be a huge loss for the 49ers. Luckily they signed Boldin, but having both of those guys going would have been key for them. It'll be really interesting to see the battle for the division between them and the Seahawks this year.

debaserr 05-22-2013 05:31 PM

Judging from highlights, Crabtree hasn't done anything since he left TTU.

Thom Yorke 05-28-2013 01:33 PM

I think he's one of the better possession receivers out there, and is great at picking up yards after the catch. Unbelievable hands and, while he's not fast, he consistently pulls off great open-field moves to pick up more yards. Kaepernick was relying on him very heavily, so it's a huge loss for the 49ers.

Forward To Death 05-28-2013 09:23 PM

That's spot on, and it's worked for a lot of receivers. You don't have to be fast as long as you can get open, and Crabtree is very good at getting away from guys who are faster than him. He's also kind of big for a receiver. Only 6'1 but 215-220 I believe, and he can jump higher than almost any defender.

TheBig3 06-10-2013 07:57 PM

This should be a show.

Forward To Death 06-10-2013 11:05 PM

I could see him having some success there, actually.

McDaniels is a great QB coach, and if anyone can find the right scheme/situation for Tebow, it's BB.

Eq McFly 06-18-2013 12:49 PM

Tebows best possible situation is in New England

New England Patriots' Aaron Hernandez likely to be arrested - NFL - SI.com

Holy ****.

Thom Yorke 06-21-2013 09:29 AM

Just insane how stuff like this constantly happens in the NFL. Obviously he's innocent until proven guilty, but it definitely doesn't look good for him right now.

Norg 06-25-2013 10:45 PM

do yall think the Texans can get to the superbowl this year no one seems to be picking them I think the patriots will finnnnalllyyy have a down year and the Texans will fill that void

debaserr 06-25-2013 11:50 PM

Nope. I think the short term future of the Broncos is bright. Can't wait for the season.

Thom Yorke 06-27-2013 10:16 AM

Texans will probably be in the mix every year. Broncos do look good though. I think those are the two best teams in the AFC. As for the NFC, I think it'll be a battle between the 49ers and the Seahawks, with the Packers always being a threat as well.

Electrophonic Tonic 06-27-2013 11:48 PM

Bernard Pollard is the angel of death for the Patriots...

From the Boston Herald
Quote:

Would it surprise you to learn that safety Bernard Pollard — who looms large in nearly every disaster to befall the Patriots over the past five years — is also a footnote in the Aaron Hernandez saga?

Pollard, of course, is the guy who tore up Tom Brady’s knee in 2008 and was about to dive into Wes Welker when Wes blew out his ACL in 2010. Pollard also tackled Rob Gronkowski in the 2011 AFC Championship game, spraining 87’s ankle and crippling him for the Super Bowl. And in last season’s AFC title tilt he concussed running back Stevan Ridley with a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit.

Well then, it should come as no surprise that, according to the Twitterverse, Pollard was the last guy to tackle Hernandez in that very same AFC Championship game. According to the box score, Pollard hit Hernandez on a third-and-10 late in the fourth quarter of the Patriots last game of the 2012-2013 season — and probably the last play of 81’s career.
I didn't believe it until I checked here.

yeah I don't even care if we win the SB this year has long has we win it in HOuston in 2 years that would be nice well maybe this year 2013 and another in 2015 that would be nice

but I think Mcnair dream is for the Texans to be a great team year in and year out like make the playoffs like for the next 10+ years

debaserr 06-28-2013 04:08 AM

You Texans fans are delusional. Teams don't really win rings without elite QB play.

ehhh if eli manning and joe flacco can win it. i dont see why matt cant

if u compare joe flacco to matt schaub there not to far apart infact in terms of mechanics there kinda the same type of qb

debaserr 06-28-2013 03:54 PM

It doesn't matter one lick what type of QB it is. Can they get in done in January or not. Schaub seems to be a no, and Flacc / Eli proved themselves early on.

butthead aka 216 07-31-2013 06:09 PM

norg is right there isnt a big difference between schaub and flacco

superbowl wins by qbs are a little over rated

if the denver safety doesnt horribly misplay that flacco deep ball then the ravens dont even go to the superbowl, yet flacco still played the same game. its like the nba. if ray allen doesnt hit that mircale 3 in game 6 of the finals, lebron is trashed but he still played the exact same game

anyways anyone see the riley cooper thing?? he used the N word. that is terrible but i think herm edward said it best by saying it was hurtful and dumb and offensive but also that ppl make mistakes. i hate that ppl are gonna make this out to be a huge deal, his press conference today was absurd with questions like 'are you now a marked man?

Forward To Death 08-01-2013 02:58 AM

Except that Matt Shaub has **** the bed in the playoffs, whereas guys like Eli and Flacco have played their best football in the postseason. I don't see where there's an argument to be made, Matt Shaub is a decent QB who'll most likely only win a SB if the team around him picks him up. He isn't the kind of QB who can carry a team on his back.
