I just heard him for the first time a few weeks ago. It was my soundtrack for a few hours during a drive through the vast, empty, gray expanse that is southern Minnesota. I'm not sure if my environment made the music better, or vice versa. But it was a really great (terrifying) experience. I felt like I could die alone out there and no one would ever find me.

I'm guessing it's been over a decade since I've listened to this. Musically, it's great, but lyrically Sting is full of shit. Oh boo hoo! You can't turn the other cheek because it's bruised and torn? You must have a backache sleeping on a mattress made of the millions you've earned. Oh boo hoo! You criticize the fat man in his garden with a thin man at his gate? I don't see you giving away all your money to help the poor.

I agree completely. Their best combination of styles.
A U R O R A is a really spooky album. I was going to see him at a festival last year but sadly it got cancelled.
This is their second best in my opinion.
