Mount Eerie With Julie Doiron and Fred Squire - Lost Wisdom

I am completely absorbed in this universe for the foreseeable future. Everybody that is apart of the various projects with Phil are always so great. My favorite people and music.

Machine 12-11-2014 07:06 PM

Got the new Death Grips going again it's so good, more subdued then their other ones.

One of the best albums I've heard since my odyssey started.

Very very good!

When this started, I was like what the hell is this? Then I quickly realized it's Animal Collective. Okay. Carry on with your weirdness.

Their best album.

Zhanteimi 12-12-2014 07:17 AM

Yeah, I've listened to it several times, but that beginning always gets me.

Zhanteimi 12-12-2014 07:18 AM

Either/Or is amazing!

It's all right, I guess, but garage rock isn't really my thing.

I just heard him for the first time a few weeks ago. It was my soundtrack for a few hours during a drive through the vast, empty, gray expanse that is southern Minnesota. I'm not sure if my environment made the music better, or vice versa. But it was a really great (terrifying) experience. I felt like I could die alone out there and no one would ever find me.

Berxen "Werwolf"

Mine is 19/20, silver embossing, really, really beautiful. Comes with an almost Derek Bailey guitar improv with Pierre Bastien mechanations in the background. Really trippy stuff.

Berxen s/t

I also have this too by the same guy, my copy of this is 20/20. It comes with both a 5" AND A 3" RECORD.

These guys clearly have no idea what it means to be spiritualized, but I dig their albums.

Both Pierce and Kember have been doing the same schtick for way too long, but I really liked this album.

The Police - Synchronicity (1983)

I'm guessing it's been over a decade since I've listened to this. Musically, it's great, but lyrically Sting is full of shit. Oh boo hoo! You can't turn the other cheek because it's bruised and torn? You must have a backache sleeping on a mattress made of the millions you've earned. Oh boo hoo! You criticize the fat man in his garden with a thin man at his gate? I don't see you giving away all your money to help the poor.

Aphex Twin - Syro (2014)

Finally!

JacquesR 12-13-2014 12:02 AM

The last album which I have bought was Gravity and where we are by Westlife.

Mondo Bungle 12-13-2014 12:45 AM

Paysage d'Hiver - Einsamkeit. Listened like 5 times this week, my favorite pure ambient release from a black metal band, unless you count Songs of Grief and Solitude by Drudkh as ambient.

Feederz - Ever Feel Like Killing Your Boss?
Painkiller - Guts of A Virgin

Hail Marry Mallon - Bestiary
Thorns - Trøndertun & Grymyrk
Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way to Blue

A U R O R A is a really spooky album. I was going to see him at a festival last year but sadly it got cancelled.
