Tom Morello here to let you know: REBEL AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT IN STYLE! Why go to protest rallies without your personal light-up protest sign? If you really want to get your message across, use 100W batteries to LIGHT IT UP!

Haha, I've never heard that before but it's pretty funny considering that "no keyboards were used in the recording of this album" message they put in the liner notes of their first album.

I still think it's pretty cool that all of the sounds produced in their albums came from vocals, guitar, bass, and drums...

The chorus riff from "Freedom" reminds me of Zeppelin.

I'm slightly confused by the way you worded this post... is it anti-Greg or pro-Greg?

Yeah, a few riffs that sound similar to Zeppelin. God f*cking forbid a musician has such pesky things as influences.

What did I use that was a straw man? This is why you suck at arguing because you constantly pull these kinds of things out of your bum without giving much of an explaination. You're simply trying to make the argument more complicated than it needs to be.

I know, and I'm not dissing Morello for having Zeppelin-esque riffs, in fact he's one of my favorite guitarists. I just felt like throwing another example out there. Honestly, it's the only riff that has ever struck me as Led Zeppelin-like.

I don't know. I just think it's cool. Kinda like all the stuff Jack White does with his guitar. I find it incredibly inventive and refreshing...
