1) Top 5 alcoholic drinkies?
McAllen's Cask Strength Scotch in a rocks glass with 2 ice cubes, A tequila forward Margarita with a good Blanco or Reposado tequila, fresh squeezed lime juice and Cointreau, on the rocks with salt, A mildly spicy Bloody Mary with clam juice in a tall pilsner glass on a sunday afternoon, a decent old-vine red Zinfandel, and way...way too many beers to mention, but I do have special thing for English brown ales and ESBs in general and Belgian blondes, browns, and triples. Oh, and of course PBR.

2) What was the last work of art (for want of a better phrase) to really have an impact on you for better or worse and why? Could be an album, song, painting, film, book or whatever.
After spending most of my life think that graphic art was the only form of creativity that I wasn't going to jive with, I started diving into a little bit a few months ago and just the newness of that particular creative process itself has really had an impact on me.

3) How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
It'll fetch me a hickory stick to beat a body down with.

4) Withnail & I or the Big Lebowski?
I fuckin' hate The Eagles.

5) What's one of your favourite movie scenes and why? Give us a youtube clip of it as well if you can.

The speech that Samuel L. Jackson gives at the last 3 minutes of the scene just reminds me of how gracious I am with people now compared to how I used to be. That, and it's really just my favorite movie scene.

6) Aaaaaand finally, a prediction for this summer's World Cup winner please. Or do you not really care?
How much I care depends on what's in the cup. Wait...Is that like soccer, or something?

A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

That's the only one I liked.
Suit yourself.

1) Top 5 alcoholic drinkies?
Glenlivet whiskey, Bushmill's black whiskey, Bombay Sapphire gin, a dry Manhattan every now and then, Guiness. In that order.

2) What was the last work of art (for want of a better phrase) to really have an impact on you for better or worse and why? Could be an album, song, painting, film, book or whatever.
For some reason earlier today I found myself reading someone's dissertation which consisted of about 100 pieces of sudden fiction; stories of 50-100 words in length. I ws quite taken aback by how much emotion and meaning can come across in such short pieces of work.

3) How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Enough.

4) Withnail & I or the Big Lebowski?
Withnail & I is one of the first films I think of whenever someone asks me what my favourites of all time are. I do love the Big Lebowski as well though.

5) What's one of your favourite movie scenes and why? Give us a youtube clip of it as well if you can.
The scene where Humbert first meets Quilty in Kubrick's Lolita, or 'How To Act, Starring Peter Sellers & James Mason'. This little snippet basically epitomises everything that was missing in the remake.

En-ger-land all the way!

In all likelihood though, I can see Brazil easing their way to another title. Definitely gonna be supporting England all the way - I've waited such a long time to see them have a go at a trophy, so I'll just enjoy every minute of it (or at least try to).

Grey goose & IBC cream soda is my all time favorite. Otherwise I'll drink vodka and anything.

fresh pulque, Old Style, Colt 45, Olde English, Goose Island Summertime Kolsch. Basically any craft brew that's done right, or cheap malt liquor.

As a citizen of a country that isn't going to do anything but get their asses handed to them, all I can hope for is a good tournament.

Anyone got 6 for this week then? I'm a bit too tired/hungover to come up with any myself, so if someone else could coin a few that'd be awesome.

Ok, I got this one:

1. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, what actor would you like to see play yourself?

2. If you were allowed to create one new nationally observed holiday what would you celebrate, and how would you celebrate it?

3. What would you like to have written on your tombstone?

4. If you could have one faucet in your house/flat provide any liquid besides water what would it be and why?

5. So far, what has been your favorite year/age and why?

6. If you could make a sandwich out of anything, what would be on it?

Cheers Satch. Nice one

1. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, what actor would you like to see play yourself?
John Malkovich is gangly enough, so him with a stupid wig for added hilarity.

2. If you were allowed to create one new nationally observed holiday what would you celebrate, and how would you celebrate it?
Every September 1st, everyone in England would celebrate this by, I dunno, drinking beer or something. A lot like any other holiday round here really.

3. What would you like to have written on your tombstone?
"Everybody's Free (To Use Sunscreen)"

4. If you could have one faucet in your house/flat provide any liquid besides water what would it be and why?
Glenlivet, not only for my enjoyment but also the vast amounts of money I'd make off it.

5. So far, what has been your favorite year/age and why?
I'd say 2007/8, when I was 19 going on 20. I'd finally beaten depression, so my life took a complete turn for the better and it was then I really started to properly enjoy myself.

6. If you could make a sandwich out of anything, what would be on it?
Can't go wrong with the old ham/corned beef/iceberg lettuce/mayo combo when I'm getting a bit peckish and can't be bothered standing around the oven and staring intently at it for hours on end.
