There are credits you can take that somehow or another allow you to go to Europe and get credits for it. I don't know how but it's possible, and **** me if you know, but you know you want to go on the Grand Tour for college. My bro went to Italy and somehow got college credit for it and explored Europe. Do that. Sounds fun. Just figure out how it's possible. And no I'm not BSing you he's now in medical school and doing his thang.

I got paid to go to Europe, but I had to sign 3 years of my life away. Plus, I got some college money out of the deal. The only downside was having to do the bidding of a few masochistic monsters hell bent on making my life a living hell for a few months. After that, it was all gravy. Actually, come to think of it. All of it was gravy. I ate a lot of gravy. I guess what I'm trying to say is, the Army has gravy.

TFW you notice frantic movement in another seat on a train and think that maybe that homeless gentlemen is having a seizure but nah, he's just yanking it.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 10-31-2017 05:45 PM

Might as well: you're already sitting on the ground.

Lucem Ferre 10-31-2017 07:57 PM

TFW you think you're broke but you actually have an ass load of money saved up.

Edit: I don't even think I've ever had this much money, TBH.

The Batlord 11-01-2017 01:18 PM

TFW you see your phone light up next to you and go to pick it up but it was your Gameboy Advance the whole time. So you pick it up.

That feeling when you work with people who bring their dogs into the office and their dogs are fucking dicks with insufferable attitudes that no one would be cool with if they were human.

What'd the dogs do to you?

TFW you wake up to your ear bleeding onto your pillow.

Worse when it's kids. I used to dread the weekend at the office, when one of my co-workers obviously thought "Well daddy has a problem here, stuck looking after little Jimmy or Jane, so why not bring them into the office?" Then ****s off down the warehouse for an hour, leaving me either doing my best to ignore them or trying (and failing) to engage with them. Jesus!

I like to teach them new swear words, with the older kids getting lessons in advanced swear structure.

Dangerous though: you never know when they're gonna point to you when asked "Where did you hear that???" Some of them would just draw at daddy's desk or pretend to use his computer, so that was fine. It was when you were specifically introduced to the kid and had to then interact with a tiny human being in a manner which is outside your general frame of reference that got to me. "How about that pop artist, then, huh? You like sports?" etc.

That's when you say "and what other words did I teach you, Timmy?" and Timmy says "kids don't belong at work."

I'd rather blow you up.

Honestly, I don't see why this is such a big deal. Who the **** cares when you're quoted? Chances are you'll be in the thread anyway. Are you all that shallow? Why did I even ask that question?

Shallow :D

Quote notifications are a staple on most forums Trollheart. Without them you easily miss people's responses to you, which can be seen as rude imo (especially if you've asked something and someone has took the time to help you). Nothing to do with being shallow.

Plankton 11-02-2017 03:11 PM

Before it was implemented, all you'd have to do is a vanity search.

*shrug*

I got some feels rn for when a fairly large city's HS commissions you to do some artwork based on their sketch.

Pet_Sounds 11-02-2017 03:30 PM

TFW you used to get quote notifications but disabled them because they were annoying.

Meh, I'm pretty much checking each thread I'm interested in, and would have posted in, and if I haven't replied in a timely manner to someone (like, if Frownland tells me to go **** myself and I don't respond to him, or Batty says reply to this or you're admitting you're a pussy) they need to take into account the time zones. Also the fact that I may not give a ****, and in the latter case a system that tells me I've been quoted will be no use to me, as I'll just ignore it anyway. :D
